The whole setup should be standard. I did favor the EQ for a while because it was something new and mimicked the actual thing, but after a while, you still can't beat having the original. You can hear that thing from 20 blocks away, not to mention, coming out of New York City, it gives that nostalgic feeling from the 60's and 70's.
