Beautiful location shave. We all have so much to be thankful to FDR for like the 40 hour work week and Social Security from which I am now enjoying in my dotage. Back when I lived in norther Indiana, I had juniper on my property. There is a sharpness to the evergreen note that makes it unique to my nose. Many years ago, I was on faculty at Roosevelt University in Chicago. The school name was changed to honor him and an elevator was installed in the hope he would visit it. Elenore came but he never did.

Loved the facts about FDR. In my opinion, he was a good president. I can Monday morning QB and say we should've helped our allies MUCH sooner than we did in WW2, but after December 7 1941, President FDR was IN IT TO WIN IT. Awesome shave in such a serene location!

Not sure how many president soap sets Frank has but it would be cool to see continual releases with each president reflecting scents of their era. I liked your comment on the imperfection of each man. We need more of that sentiment these days.

Juniper on its own is such wonderful scent in my opinion. Add to fresh Juniper the scent of gin and that wonderfully fresh botanical profile that it brings, I can imagine this bring a truly wonderful scent.

You de man, Tobin! That razor has a very small "good" zone and you made it look easy. As you know I had the PAA Bakelite, The Monster Series, and the Fasan all out and comparing them and this one is the odd man out. While it looks similar, the head geometry is a little different and for me it definitely shaves differently. Lol! This sounds like a great scent and that's what I've heard about the whole series. I lived in Northern Wisconsin and I love the smell of fir trees, along with a lot of other woods. I used to get a high-end oil for my reed diffuser that was a blended fir scent that was really amazing and I'd have that going all year. That scoop is really cool and similar to my idea for the glow in the dark idea I have for your scoop for next year. Have a great weekend.
