Where Karin can be recruited, Daan is sometimes found just near her. I managed to recruit both at the same time.

She can be recruited on west prehevil on the ruined streets then she will shout you out, talk to her then you are able to recruit her. Keep in mind she will only appear on day 2 there.

@@ChikkyThings Dude, you don't get it. I'm saying that Daan sometimes appears in the same spot and can also be recruited permanently.

@@pochtipro You can find daan inside the shack with the dying moonscorched villager on day 3 if the villager is still alive, Recruit him and he will leave you eventually. You can find karin and daan after him leaving you in the Old town of prehevil while they inspect the moonscorched villagers, I don't know if you can recruit them...
