NOPE!
Not planes..but KITES!!!
EEEK!!! Big billowy, flappy, chase you down, fall on your head....KITES!!!
We actually filmed for Kraken The Box before this flight, with a special custom made kite for Kori, so had some practice with a smaller kite first! (head over to Koris channel and keep an eye out for that upcoming video)!
A big thankyou to THE KITE GUY for the info on which kite to buy AND for gifting Koris kite too!!
**PLEASE STICK WITH US ON KITE VIDEOS**...Across BOTH channels, I will be learning to fly BIG parachute, 5 line depower kites, moving onto kite landboarding, then to a tandem skydive and the ULTIMATE goal, is to go abroad to do a base jump!!!
This will ALL be done on videos and to raise money for heart charities, so please stay with me for this journey in memory of Kori!!
My channel will be alot more adult, so younger viewer discretion is advised!

I faced my biggest fear when I lost Kori... NOTHING can be more scary than that, but I need to push myself now to stop being a wimp and 'grab life by the balls and never give up' as Kori said x

Pixie! You completely ROCK! I knew you could face your fear and totally do it! I'm 58 yrs old and weigh 89 lbs! Ahe is nothing! I'm 45 this year so not too far behind you and I'm about 12 stone. If a kite can lift me and my fat ass plus a landboard, I'd be well impressed!! lol I hope Kori will be with me for all my flights, laughing his ass off! x

As someone who's terrified of kites, heights and has asthma, I applaud you!!!🎉🎉🎉. Well done Pixie! My husband used to fly one like this one and bigger while he was still alive. He loved it. For his 59th birthday, we went tandem skydiving. He made it. I didn't. I stayed on the plane. 😂 I'm a great big coward. So well done!!!!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband (sending gentle hugs). I'd absulutely, categorically SH*T myself doing a sky dive, but if it's to raise money to help others, I'd do it (just alot of swearing would be involved) lol

Now you do not have to panic if someone tells you to go fly a kite! You have survived your greatest fear and prove again you are a true hero. (I can't help thinking that Mary Poppins must be a horror film to you, between her flying in on an umbrella and the rousing chorus of Let's Go Fly a Kite! finale!)

My greatest fear was losing my son and I barely am surving that...but I figure that if Kori could do all he did, I have to at least try...but omg I was sooo scared x Haha!! I like Mary Poppins!

You did great Pixi, no huge panic attacks, no getting dragged around by the kite. I am by no means an expert but maybe until you get your confidence up, keep trying to fly the kite on calm days until you get the hang of the strings and the pull on your body. As for skydiving, have you thought of trying one of the indoor skydive centres? It's a similar feeling, but it's a big gust of air that pushes you up. I have no clue on the cost but I would guess £100 or less. I've also been thinking that perhaps you'd like to visit the sites found on a Monopoly board. You and John both seem to enjoy history and it would be kind of cool to see you visit places like Whitehall, Mayfair, Park Lane, etc. Granted funds and mental health take absolute priority, but I thought it could be something fun and interesting to do. Maybe even take a Kori picture with you so he can visit too. ❤❤❤❤

Wow, that is a big kite. The wind would probably just rip that out of my hands. I have only flown a little kid kite. You did a great job Pixi. You should put a Slithern patch on it or one with your Crap Goth bat logo on it.❤. A family hobby of kite flying for you all would be so neat. That is a great field for it. So proud of you! When you were sorting the strings I had a good feeling you'd do it! YAY! I also have some phobia's but some aren't worth it to me to concur. My biggest one was actual flying (airplane) A million years ago I got on a plane (freaking the fk out!) which turned into becoming a travel agent several years later. When I was still working I was flying at least monthly somewhere! I still hate it but it got to the point where I could actually sleep through most of the flight. You are a much braver woman than I am. Sky diving? Yikes! BUT I would bet a lot of things that you can and will do it....and very possibly love it!

Flying is SO scary!!! You did so well!!! I only want to skydive to raise money for a heart charity, but I would be terrified!! lol
