We decided to go to Whitby, North Yorkshire (UK), to start the special memorial video for my little boys upcoming 1st anniversary of his passing.
Kori absolutely LOVED Whitby and longed to go back, but devastatingly, he passed away, before he got the chance.
So, I decided to film for both channels, to show you parts of Whitby and why we love it so much.

What a lovely afternoon with the family, Pixi. Sometimes the best days are the ones that don't go the way you planned. I suspect Kori was working hard to disrupt everything and was shouting "Balls" the entire time!

Wow, wow, wow...what a great place! Can see why Kori loved it. Wonderful to see your family out having a good time and HAPPY. I would love to visit there. Love the age of everything. We live an hour or so from the Atlantic coast of the US...looks nothing..repeat ...nothing like Whitby. Keep the videos coming. Really enjoyed your day 😊

Thank you for sharing that beautiful destination with us! How I miss that rich history. My family is from Germany (still there) and I would go and visit every 2 yrs with my mum. I can still smell the air and hear the sounds. There is NOTHING like seeing amazing old Abby's and Cathedrals and the bells and and and..... Whitby is gorgeous. I can see why it was Kori's favourite. ❤

I always judge a place by, "Could I write well there?" And Whitby looks a good place to write. Would be nice to live there. And the seaside gives you a perspective bigger than society when you need to reflect. Whenever we visit a place we leave a bit of our DNA there, maybe even our consciousness, the resonance of our presence, so it's nice to think of Kori leaving his traces on the beach.

19:36 it's ok you stayed longer, spent more than you expected on the machines, missed out on other things, because you bought a priceless memory for Ostarra. She'll always remember Mom and Dad working so hard trying to win her those things, whatever they were😂 and everyone had lots of fun! Even the things that didn't work out this time just means you'll get to come back and focus on those next time and bank a different set of memories. I bet you'll have to visit that Dyson blade again though 😂😂😂

I went to whitby goth weekend today and got caught in the rain once or twice but paid a visit to the leisure centre and came away with some whitby gin and a t shirt . Though I must say the mead we were allowed to try was lovely ( I tried the cherry one 😊)

@@thecrapgoth I'd worry about getting blown into the sea by the storms. I live in Texas, but would love to live in New Orleans Louisiana. However, because it's mostly below sea level, with the water held back by the levees, hurricane season is terrible. What with climate change, the hurricanes are getting stronger and more frequent. So for now I'll stay in TX where I only have to worry about tornados 🌪️ that can be hit or miss. I'm a five and a half hour drive to the Gulf of Mexico so at least I can visit the sea from time to time. 😸 🖤🩷🦇🩷🖤

They had pay toilets in Canada as well. It was so people wouldn't go in and just make a mess. I believe when I was a lot younger, it was 10 cents. Probably more now. I like the idea. Those toilets were a lot cleaner.
