Fear of the unknown. Whenever I feel this way I go to God and make sure I put my trust in Him. It’s not always easy, but I know what must be done. Thank you for all the hard work you guys put on these podcasts

This series is so on time and speaks to my heart. Lani's Amen was such a ditto for me because I have been wrestling and struggling with fear and people pleasing and it just is no longer acceptable, I want to fear God more than anyone or anything
felt compelled to reply to you sister , first of all Praise Our Holy and mighty God He really sees you and He sees your situation He sees and knows exactly how you feel ,Hes good and Hes patient. You dont need to worry , Ik it hurts alot ive been there. Ive tried everything in "my" power to try bringing myself to God. But the thing is I cant! We cant we simply cannot rely on our own power even to bring us back to God , only God can do that. If your feeling departed? or Away from God you dont feel that spirtiual burn and yet you do, Know your on the right part if your heart still burns and desires for Him. But ask God , Dont say "Ill pick my bible and ill get closer to God" say "God i cant rely on my own power and im held under addiction free me and have compassion over your servant , Show me your mercies and grace i Burn for you , Fill me with your Holy Spirit and Let me bear the fruits of the Spirit, In all my ways let me put You first even if i dont have the strength strengthen me God because i simply cant rely on my own power. Break me from the chains of people pleasing and let me be God pleasing instead cause you are eternal and so is Your Love for me because you are Love. Your time not mine , Your will not mine , Your way God. You are my way my truth and my life. I know You will help me because i earnestly seek you and want to Love you more than anything God so set my parts straight as i cant do this on my own. In Jesus name i pray believing in John 14:14 I Love you Abba , May your spirit be with me always and your angels protect me. Amen. I shall pray for you sister

Pride begets insecurity and fear, and fear begets irrationalism and paranoia. Thanks for the message. My amen is that God has not given us a spirit of fear, He desires for us to FEAR him (reverence) and WORSHIP Him only because as Alex said, We Fear what we Worship. I choose to fear the Lord and worship Him only.

What I fear sometimes is that I just disappoint God with my actions since I get tempted by the flesh but I gotta understand that God is rooting for me every day. Everyday the Lord wakes me up is another day to work for his kingdom.
I fear the unknown and not having control. Even though I know that God is in control, I am often worried about how I can’t picture my future. I don’t know exactly what’s in store for me. I like to plan and work ahead, and as a 20 year old junior in college, I feel like I am unsuccessful because I still don’t have a concrete plan for what career I want to pursue. It scares me to look five years into the future and see nothing, have no picture of what my life will be. I’ve never been in a relationship so I can’t exactly picture a family, and I don’t know what career God wants me to choose so I can’t imagine that either. I know that I just have to trust God and His plan for me. It’s really teaching me that having faith is the most important thing for me to do. I thank God for allowing me to come across this podcast, I am learning so much and growing so much in my relationship with Him as a result of tuning in with you guys!! God is using you in mighty ways and I am so grateful y’all are allowing Him to!!
I think I fear being alone. The thought of having no friends always anguished for as long as I can remember. My number one struggle as a Christian is seeking the approval of the world and wanting to be friends with people who don't take God seriously. So what Lokelani said really resonates with me, living for anything that isn't God makes you completely miserable

Something I’ve been fearing recently is feeling left behind and missing out things. Most people in my life are starting new things but I’m still where I’m at. I was feeling so small and feared that we wouldn’t be able to relate each other anymore

When you fear something you keep it in front of you to watch it and pay attention to it....to not keep God Infront of you means you do not fear the Lord...and no wisdom is in you... Amen! I remember before I was saved by the Lord Jesus I was messing with occult stuff like tarot and healing crystals. I remember my anxiety being absolutely horrendous then, panic attacks multiple times a day. I was 100% worshipping fear and everything I shouldn’t have. Then when I was brought into the glorious light of God, I felt a humongous weight being lifted off my shoulders. My anxiety has been so incredibly minimal now that I have the Lord and His Holy Spirit with me. Praise Jesus Christ, He delivers you and heals you. Amen
My amen: I should be firm and confident on what the Holy Spirit want me to do and stop fearing peoples feelings and Not Letting people define my relationship with God. Instead of clinging to God.
I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life. There were times when I was younger and I would get fearful of the smallest things. As I got older it got easier and I wasn’t as fearful as I used to be. But I t wasn’t tell recently where my parents we’re going into a divorce and that put a huge amount of anxiety on me. Thankfully through God who has helped me through a lot of these hard times. And then the devil put evil thoughts into my head and people hurting themselves has really put fear into me. So I thank you guys for this video and letting me know how to be fearless.
My fear is speaking out in public, I get anxious at Bible study when I’m asked a question. I’ve been operating under the spirit of fear for a very long time now but I’m well aware of it. I’ve been praying more and asking God to let the Holy Spirit guide me and give me words like he did with Moses. Thank you Alex for your message.
My pastor in Mountain View NM had gotten me an odd job. I have to work tomorrow around 8 am. I'm terrified of not being a good person and I mean that because I struggle with anxiety. My mind was racing and my mind started telling me that they're not going to like you. You're weird and quiet. Just text your pastor and lie and say to him that you can not make it. But right there I remembered your video shorts saying just show up for God. God bless you guys

I’ve been struggling with panic attack episodes, I had three today and they are debilitating. I fear that there may be demonic reals at play here. I had two people pray over me today, and I’ve been much better since. This came at such a good time. Praise God, and thank you both!
I just wanted to tell you this to perhaps help you. So I hope it does. God bless you. I was having crazy panic attacks and I thought the same thing as your comment. Then I asked God to reveal to me what was going on. And this may sound strange but it ended up being dairy products and their effect on my body. I love all things dairy and when I would consume a bunch of it, without me knowing what the problem was I would have days of high anxiety, fear, and then a panic attack. So I fasted for three days with no food only water and one cup of coffee a day. It was super difficult but God told me to do it so I did. Afterwards I felt something release and then anything I ate from that point on, I was very sensitive and totally aware of how it effected my body. So the next time I had a bunch of dairy foods, the panic attack and everything followed. I stopped eating dairy and have started totally changing my diet. And guess what, no more panic attacks and very very low anxiety. I am blown away by this. But God is good and he showed me the truth. All I had to do was listen and trust in him and he brought me through something that I thought was out of my control. We consume so many chemicals and awful things that control our flesh. So go to God with this and I wish you well. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!!!

I’ve gone to the hospital multiple times, as my symptoms are the same as those having a heart attack. My chest gets real tight, sharp pinching in left breast, my arm starts hurting, hand goes numb. Every time I get a ECG and X-rays everything is normal. I got an extensive blood work done last month and my results are fantastic. Doctor says i have one of the best test results he’s ever seen. So everything on paper is great, and I can’t seem to shake them. Ironically I’m a vegetarian, so I’ve been considering my carb intake and my dairy consumption. I travel a lot for work and when I’m on the road my diet gets pretty loose. I’m going to give that a go and see how my body responds. Thank you again for sharing with me! God bless you
@@Brandonreisinger I can totally relate to the feeling of the chest tightening and some numbness in my arms and neck when my anxiety is high. I have never went in for tests though. I can usually find a way to calm myself. But what you've been going through sounds super scary. I am so glad to hear you are very healthy though so that's awesome. Praise God. Yes totally stop the dairy for a bit and see how you feel. I really hope it helps. And I will be praying for you Brandon whether it is spiritual attacks against you or something else. I fear the unknown. God has called me to step out by giving Him full control of my heart and my life, but I'm so scared. I have no idea what it's going to look like, and I feel safer keeping control of my life. But my whole life is at a stand still because of this.
The analogy of the wave hitting you once you turn away is so perfect. I struggle with questioning my faith when I lose my connection (consistency) with God. And when that happens I essentially turn get hit by the wave called life and I fall hard. I now know I must be consistent and continue to watch the real wave called God in awe and amazement for he is father!

Im am fearful of my loved ones fighting because I don't want to be scared of being hit or hurt by others and being fearful of being stranded and that God will leave me but that's being scared of what man can do and that's not what God wants he delivered me from chaos and fighting and from my enemies he won't leave me he will nor leave me nor forsake me
I fear people and their opinions of me. I fear not being enough in their eyes and being overlooked, undervalued. I’ve sought love, acceptance, and identity in others because I’ve been criticized all my life. I never was left alone, and given space to make mistakes to be human. I see now I’ve suffered from a lot of emotional abuse disguised 🥸 as love and help. But God! Yes 🙌🏽 but God is healing me, restoring but really renewing me! What a Friend we have in Jesus! Nothing is like The Father’s love, it refreshes the soul like nothing else!

Here is my Amen: I am currently reading about the story of Saul in the book of Samuel and I felt myself getting fustrated by his perpetual bad decision making. I felt annoyed and fustrated that he never seemed to “get it” because he was so much more fearful of man than he was of God. Then I realised that I am actually a lot like that at times. I can relate to Lokelani’s fear of others and what they think about her. I am someone who often moulds herself to suit the moods and the needs of others. In other words, I always act in a way that I know will make me accepted by the people I am around. In some ways, this can be a good thing (1 Cor. 9:22) when done in the correct manner and for the correct reasons, but more often than not, it doesn’t come from the right place and it makes me act “against my convictions” (as Lokelani was describing). I am praying to God to help me with this and I have gotten gradually better. Before, I couldn’t even bring up Jesus in a conversation without becoming extremely anxious, but praise God because now I can! And I know with more prayer and growth I’ll get better at it.

We just got home from our beach vacation and during the time that I was walking on the beach God gave me this lesson of surrendering or Drowning in his grace to fully submit to him and the way how gentle the waves was crashing and pulling the sand beneath you it’s like calling me
I am servant leading a devotional in school as a high schooler and one of the student asked why God would let these kings (we were going through 1&2 Kings and 1&2 chronicles)keep ruling even though they keep messing up and making bad choices. and God just gave the answer to that question through you about Herod killing the babies. I'm very thankful.
What a word brother Alex! A fear I struggle with is same as Lani, what people think and just them making an assumption or perspective about me. It’s something I still struggle with every now and then, and it’s not fun because we know that God made us in His image and His thoughts of us are way better because He’s our Father and knows us better than we know ourselves. I fear my past choices have ruined my children's future. I fear they may choose to not follow Christ because of how my addiction effected them throughout their first 8 years of life. It's hard picking up the pieces but I do trust in our Father. And I trust he will help me get through and out to the other side of this fear. It's about keeping my eyes on him. The only way out of the storm is through the storm with my eyes on the prize which is Christ. No matter what that looks like!!
I used to fear the unknown and from experiencing the unknown like would most people call it like a void it completley freaked me out not too mention I used to have voices in my head and I also couldnt eat food properly for two weeks, but I wanna give some encouragement if people are scared of the unknown God is with u now He will never leave u nor forsake u. it was crazy when alex brought up finances because i was so worried about my finances this week that i wouldn’t even give my tithe because i was afraid of losing money and making excuses like “God doesn’t love you because of how much money you give” which is true but I didn’t realize how tight i was holding onto my money not willing to sacrifice that it just got into my head because I have plans for next months holiday and I just been tryna save money that i feared even spending 5.00. I wasnt having any peace with myself until i watched the video I knew what I had to do and gave my tithe money and trusting God and not my money.

I fear the meds I take… I have a broken back in 3 places and a rod in my sciatic nerve … as well as bone spurts in my neck… I am in a lot of pain at times but have a great fear of God … Not sure what to do but I am grateful for my doctor and the pain relief … not sure what to do…
Trust God that when you Abide in Him that He will abide in you, He shepherds us. Seek Him first. He will guide your steps when you Abide with Him. Pray continually without ceasing. He is faithful 🙌 Praise God for who He is. He is with us Always.
There was this guy sitting in front of the gas station. He told me he was in a car accident and his friends left him. The EMS bandage him up but left him at the gas station. He didn't have any arms or legs and needed help getting to his mom's. I didn't know him but felt God called me to help. I would have given him a ride home but my mom was telling me I was putting myself in a dangerous situation. So I called him a cab and gave him money and hugged him and told him to pray and God bless you. I left him and fried when I got home. I understand my mom's point of view but she says she is a true Christian and I don't see how judging and looking down on people is ok. God put it in my heart to help him. I pray he made it home.
You did the best you could and God sees your heart. I would pray for your mom that she humbles herself before the Lord. Jesus said you will know my disciples by how they love one another. Love is always the best option and you have a heart for God. Keep pressing into him. God bless.
Like Alex said, fearing for safety (like looking out of the ocean) is not a bad kind of fear. Idk if you’re a women, but giving strangers a ride CAN come out harmful and we shouldn’t do it blindly. Of course it is different if God put it onto your heart, but maybe your mom didn’t know this. In my opinion this isn’t looking down on someone, but I understand where you are coming from! We should walk like Christ and so is helping one another doing this. I hope you understand where I’m coming from :)

27:18 when people die they don't go to heaven immediately. As Solomon said the dead know nothing. When we die the breath which God gave us returns to Him and our bodies will return to dirt [Ecclesiates 12:7]. If people went to heaven immediately after death, then 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 would make no sense. Some texts you guys can look at: What is a soul? - Genesis 46:15,18,22 and 25 When will humans receive immortality?- 1 Corinthians 15:51-57 Are humans conscious at death? - Ecclesiates 9:5,6 This was a great podcast. Fear being alone. Fear being weird and awkward to the ppl I fellowship with. Fear I have no true friends and that the only reason the ppl in my fellowship are nice to me is only because they feel sorry for me. Fear that nobody wants to be close to me.
I have feared becoming a parasite to my family, friends and society for my whole life. My parents called me a parasite as a kid as a joke but it hurt because it was how I felt. I felt guilty for every bite of food, every dollar I spent, and every pleasure I felt. I now have a job and a wife and still feel like a parasite because my job is not hard work. I will not fear anymore for God has not given given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self control. (not sure if that is the verse lol) I will stop fearing my inadequacy as a provider and realize that that insecurity is pride. I am secure in Christ and that is enough security to last all of eternity. Oh, Jesus help me know you more, I love you so much Lord.

Hey ur not the only one its the things around u that make u fear of death remember the promises of the Lord and the Agony on the Cross Jesus died in our place he conquered death so we dont have to fear death

I would suggest not participating in Halloween at all, even if you do dress up as something harmless it can open still doors for spiritual attacks. So even if you do please be careful and most importantly pray about it, ask God if it would be okay with him , but me personally (this is just my opinion) I would not do it, I would even be careful with receiving candy and stuff like that , not to put fear in you or myself but witches and warlocks can cast spells and other onto the candy we are consuming on Halloween. It is most definitely an evil day, there is so much warfare going on especially in the month of October, but I think Christians should not participate in any Halloween activities, Halloween glorifies death and fear, it glorifies what the devil is, But please pray about it!!💞💞
Starting at 14:15 you speak of Catholicism being a false religion, and separate it from Christianity. This isn’t right. You immediately contradict yourself by saying that any religion that doesn’t worship God makes it a false religion, I’m not sure why you would think Catholicism is a false religion, its sole purpose is to worship God. May God help you see this clearly.
