DROPZONE
Feature finding is an essential part of carp angling so we have placed much emphasis on perfecting this practice with our revolutionary Dropzone range. With so much experience on board and the likes of Danny Fairbrass, Damian Clarke and Adam Penning thoroughly fieldtesting the system, the problems with marker floating have been thoroughly ironed out and it has never been so easy.
Cast them to the horizon, pop them up in the heaviest weed and see them at distance; our Dropzone range achieves it all. Each product; the Marker Float, Stem and Probe lead all work in tangent giving one of the most effective systems out there.
Each float is air-injection moulded giving optimum performance in both rising through the water column and flying aerodynamically through the air. Use this in conjunction with the Marker Stem and you'll tackle the heaviest weed out there. One problem that many anglers face is the fact that they can't cast a marker as far as their hook baits. Fear no more, as Danny Fairbrass and the team have designed them long, narrow and aerodynamic to conquer this. They literally cut through the air like one of Phil Taylor's darts!
Each stem is so buoyant, that the marker is held 10 inches above the weed and cannot become snarled in any loose strands. The stem has also been designed with an extra large eye so that the line can travel through it with ease, rapidly sending the float to the surface.
Each flight has been created in a high viz colour adapting them to all light conditions. Spod at 50yrd or 180yrd and you'll still see your target with ease.
The Dropzone range includes Marker Floats, Spod & Marker Kits or alternatively purchase the whole marker float setup to use straight out the bag!

It's called premium marketing, if Danny Fairbrass is given a few reels costing £500.00 for free, then the manufacturers can be certain a few people will buy them, but many more will buy some of the cheaper models in the range.

Far to an expensive set up and totaly beyond the average specimen angler,it's just unrealistic.I have and old Ron Thompson Zensorflex carp rod a 3lb TC cut down it's now about 4 1/2 lb TC a shimano beastmaster loaded with TF Gear's bananna braid.Ultimate direct have a good deal on for braid aswell,not as expensive as you may think.But mr Fairbrass's marker rod set up and all it's components,bar the float are not a viable aquisition for the majority of us.

Where’s the feature finding as the description suggests???

He mentioned that a stiff rod helps you feel features if you're dragging a lead along the bottom, the stiffer the rod, the more you feel. Oo-er!

Hi if I'm fishing in 6 feet of water at lets say 18 wraps, how many wraps do I have on my spot rod thanks
@banditfishing1558
@banditfishing1558 3 года назад
Richard Smith in 6 ft I wouldn’t wrap up any different. If you have worries, pop up your marker float on your spot then cast your spod next to it and clip up from there. Then the spod will be at the same distance. Hope this helps

@@banditfishing1558 thankyou for your reply and advice, I was just saying 6ft, if my spot rod is wrapped at 18 what should my hook bait rod be at, its just I thought the depth of the water would make a difference

Also if you have a 30lb braid on why do you need a 30lb shockleader?
@topBrandzBAIT
@topBrandzBAIT 6 лет назад
was thinking that myself - for the marker rod he had 30 mainline and 50 shock leader, thought it would be other way round as spod is far heavier than a marker lead surely!!
@muddodger
@muddodger 6 лет назад
Because 30lb braid will cut through anything, the finger stool and your finger due to it's small diameter. 30lb mono is thick enough to be less of a problem. Also mono has some stretch which braid doesn't, a little stretch is good in a 'shock' leader.

So I tried this at my local lake. I bought the £1000 worth of kit you plugged, I went though the whole convoluted rigmarole or mapping the swim, then it was time to go home because I had no time left for fishing. Jesus Christ, people take it too serious.
