We absolutely love our Forte zizzo's I bought one for my sister and one for myself we bought some fun accessories for them like drink holder lights for our bikes and Bells we love the look and style very smooth ride very completely happy couldn't be more happier but one thing I thought we were supposed to get carrying case but overall very pleased with our purchase
I just ordered a coral one! I'm a heavyset rider who drives an old subcompact car. This is the only bike I found that could fold to fit in the car and support my weight. I work near a very nice bike trail, and I want to keep the bike in the car for after-work rides. Looking forward to getting it and trying it out!
@jamieMakin Thanks for choosing ZiZZO! We think you will love the Forte. if you ever have questions or concerns feel free to email us at SUPPORT@ZIZZO.BIKE or give us a ring at 1-866-788-2202 Happy Pedaling!-BG
Cushy, wide, thick saddles are not always more comfortable if, for example, you are sitting on muscles you are trying to use to pedal. Sometimes the minimalist approach with saddles that just support the sit bones AKA ischial tuberostiies with a perineum friendly cut out is better. I have Forte on order and might switch for a narrower, more comfortable seat depending on my initial riding impressions.
Hi ScottMc144 Well said! Saddles are like shoes: What works for you may not work for another rider. To add to your advice, if you have a bit of memory foam at home (mattress, pillow, etc) Sit on it of a few seconds. Then get up and quickly measure the distance between the two indentations. This is the width you can walk into a bike shop and armed with this measurement, you can find a saddle that is ideal for your body. ;-)
Could you please advise the following? 1)Center of saddle/seatpost to center of handle bars/stem clamp 2)Ground to center of fully extended handle bar (next to stem) 3)Saddle height: Middle of crank arm bolt to top of saddle(Maximum) 4)Any authorised reseller in Singapore? Thanks!
Hi Leap Tech! Thank you for your questions. For the specification (measurements and angles), check out his link: euromini.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043905773 With regards to shipping area, we (www.zizzo.bike) only ship within the Contiguous USA. Other vendors may ship outside of this area (like Amazon or Walmart) but you would have to check their sites for this information. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Tony
Hi and thanks for your post! The Forte retails for $429.99 and we hope to have them back in stock towards the end of MAy, beginning of June. Let us know if you have any other questions! Tony
Could the forte fit inside a suitcase? I’m considering getting this bike while I’m in the States but I’m not sure if it would fit inside a checked bag.
Hello SandraSaysStuff Thank you for your question. The folded Forte (unmodified) will not fit into a standard "Checked" suitcase. However, ith some modifications (removing the wheels, saddle and/or pedals can allow the bike to fit into a regular suitcase. Check our our video and blog on how to travel with a ZiZZO in a suitcase here: zizzo.bike/pages/how-to-travel-with-a-zizzo Let us know if you have any other questions! Tony
Hello! I'm looking for a ZIZZO bike, but I'm not sure which model to get. I'm looking for one with a rear rack but one that is lightweight and easier to carry around since I don't have a bulky body composition and carrying heavy objects is a problem for me.
Hey Thomas! Thank you for your interest in ZiZZO Bikes! Reach out to us at your earliest convenience, we'd be happy to help you find the perfect bike for you! You can reach out to us by: Phone: 866-788-2202 Email: support@zizzo.bike Tony
Great question. In short, yes! Though each rider is unique, and some may find a 5 LBS difference a deal breaker, other riders would not notice or mind the weight difference. All in all, it's a balance between the weight and the features. ZiZZO Bikes
Hi Diego! Great commnet! While the bikes are not named directly from Portuguese, we "borrowed" words from Latin and other Romance languages; hence the very close (if not identical) similarities to Portuguese. ;-) Tony
I’ve had my Forte since May and I’m already upgrading the derailleur. It’s unfortunate that you guys didn’t put on a better drivetrain. When you have heavier riders you need a stronger drivetrain. Mine skips gears and short shifts far to often. Cool bike but you will need to upgrade somewhat soon.
Hey @becomeaudible1 We are sorry to hear about the shifting issues with your Forte. I am wondering if the shifting issue you are noting is related to an adjustment due to the bike breaking in? Over time, new bikes will undergo a breaking in period, where the cables stretch and can cause the brakes to soften up and the shifting to skip. Have you tried to adjust the derailleur before you replace it? While the load a bike will carry is important to consider in a bike's overall design, bike load does not place a lot of stress on the drivetrain (when proper shifting techniques are applied while riding). Of course, shifting under loads is bad for any drivetrain at any price point. Let us know if you need some guidance on adjusting your bike's derailleur. Tony
ZiZZO Bikes I had a full tune up done before deciding to change out the derailleur. I would have much rather payed a bit more for the bike and gotten a better drive train then to have really low end parts. There are a number of video reviews on the Forte that are saying the same things. Everyone loves the bike, that's why they're not just getting rid of it instead of opting for an upgrade. You've got a great bike. The frame is damn near bullet proof, the rims seem solid, the breaks are good, if it just had a better drivetrain nobody could touch you. I have no intention on selling my Forte. In fact, I can't wait to pick it up a week from Friday so I can start ridding the hell for it of it. I have to say, it was a bit embarrassing to have my bike making horrible noises while I was ridding with over a hundred other riders. That pretty sealed the deal for the upgrades.
Hey @@becomeaudible1 Understood! We are always saying that "each rider is unique", with unique needs and riding styles. Sounds like you got it figured out with the derailleur. Let us know how the new derailleur works out for you. We'd love to hear your feedback. Tony
Hello Leap Tech Thank you for your great questions. With regards to the belt drive, as far as we are familiar with, you cannot use a belt drive on a ZiZZO Bike. This is true for most bikes. This is because the belt is a single (unbroken) part. Unlike a "traditional" chain, which can be "broken" to get around the frame, for belt drives, the frame would need a "belt splitter" in the frame (a section of the bike frame that can open to allow the belt to be inserted). With regards to the tires, you can certainly use the Schwalbe Tires mentioned. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Tony
Hi Jaymeez Thank you for your question and the best answer is, "It's up to you!" Comfort is a VERY personal thing. If I wear a size 12 double wide shoe, and you wear a size 9 narrow, what works best for me, may not work best for you, right? Take some time to get used to the bike AND for your body to get used to riding. If, after riding for 1-3 months of regular riding, you feel the saddle does not work for you, I would suggest going to a local bike shop and get fitted for a saddle. It's a quick and easy fitting that should not take more than 5 minutes. Once you know the size that is best for your body, you can find a saddle that works best for you. If you simply want a comfortable saddle without the hassles, you can go wider and more plush, but keep in mind: The wider the saddle, the more you will feel like you are being "pushed off" when you pedal. Let us know if you have any other questions. Tony
Hi @William Mead! Thank you for your interest in ZiZZO Bikes! The Forte is designed for riders from 4'8"-6'3" and loads of up to 300LBS. In terms of weight, you're just fine. With regards to height, you are just outside the recommended rider height. However, depending on where the majority of your height is (leg or torso), you may be able to find a workable solution to riding comfortably. If you are longer in the leg, a longer seatpost may allow you to get proper leg extension. If you are longer in the torso, again, stem extenders or riser bars may help you get a perfect fit. I would recommend, however, that you first try the bike as is (stock). If, after a few weeks of consistent riding you feel that there are some fit adjustments that are needed, you should have a better idea of what should be changed, since you have the time and miles on the saddle ;-) Please let us know if you have any other questions! Tony
Hi Patrick and thank you for your question. Riding on sandy surfaces would pose the same challenges as a full sized bike. The advantage of the ZiZZO over a full sized bike would be the smaller wheel and lighter bike. These two advantages mean you'll have less weight to move and the smaller wheels would be easier to ride through sandy surfaces. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Tony
Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not carry an accessory to convert a ZiZZO Bike into a shopping cart,. but we do sell a trailer that you can attach to the back of the ZiZZO Bike and can be easily detached from the bike when you are at the store to use as a grocery cart! You can check out the trailer here: zizzo.bike/collections/accessories/products/zizzo-trailer Please let us know if you have any other questions. Tony
Hello Jyan You can certainly put a cartridge or "sealed" type BB. The size of the BB shell is standard for either type. If you need specific sizing, just let us know.
Thanks for commenting. Each riders experience varies based on their needs. We do have an upgraded Forte coming out very soon that we revealed in a recent Instagram Live. Stay tuned and Thanks!-Beau

Tony
