Shot on 35mm by seasoned film directors, the ITC action adventure series' high production values allowed key episodes to be easily presented as full-length movies for European cinema exhibition. Mid '60s favourite The Baron yielded two films assembled from two-part stories: The Man in a Looking Glass and Mystery Island.
Restored from brand-new High Definition masters created by Network's award-winning inhouse Restoration Team, both movies are presented here in widescreen format alongside the fullscreen versions of the four episodes from which they are comprised.

Although it's considered one of the 'lesser' ITC shows (unjustly so, in my opinion), I do have a soft spot for The Baron, thanks mainly to it being another stalwart of 1980's school summer holiday programming. Hope this leads to a full series release in HD

I also hope this is a precursor to the full series being available in HD. 1980s Tuesday afternoons were a double bill of The Baron and Man in a Suitcase for me.

@@NetworkDistributing Besides two full-length movies of The Baron, we get here the four episodes from which they are made. But does that mean that those four episodes are presented here in 4:3 aspect ratio? Or fullscreen without black bars? Because I'm confused and it would be much better if original format of the screen would be kept, at least in those four seperate episodes. SO, are they shown here in that aspect ratio I mentioned or not? Please reply, Network Thank you. :) I understand also that if the entire series would be released someday, this would be released in 4:3 original format?
