February 12, 2024 - Backside of Mont-Fort, Les Quatre Vallées, Switzerland. It was my first time skiing Les Quatre Vallées, and I was blown away by the terrain, it’s like a big playground for grown ups.
I decided to explore some of the terrain that looked to have good, untracked snow. The views from the top of Mont-Fort, the highest point here were just amazing! On this day I could see Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn in the distance. Just below me on the platform I could see these tracks in what looked like fresh snow, so I decided to check it out.
The night before snowed a little bit on top of some existing fresh snow. It was just enough to keep the avalanche danger at 2 out of 5.
