I’ve not been someone who cares much about a routine until these last few years and now I completely relate! When we take school breaks, it just feels off and I’m not as good about keeping up with my normal tasks

Yes! I keep things flexible but a bit of routine helps our days flow better and we're much more successful.

Another great video. I ordered the Chuckle and Roar dominoes game from watching your last video and my 3 year old just looooves it. I love using the dice for all kinds of games. TFS

I was thinking about Pinwheels! My toddler is too young for it right now, but definitely have my eye on that!

I am LOVING it for Year 1 and I think it is super gentle. I am not sure that we will move forward with it for a Year 2 since it is a lot of setup, but only time will tell!

Great video!! I always love to hear what you guys are up to!! ❤ Isn’t Uncovering the Logic of English amazing?! I’ve become so passionate about teaching reading too!! It’s fascinating!! We actually use the Logic of English program for all 3 of my kids and it’s so amazing!! I’m excited to hear more of the “professional development” books you’re reading!!

Thank you! I love hearing that you are also passionate about teaching reading! I truly would listen to podcasts, read books, and watch videos about it all day if I could. I have been loving Pinwheels, but I'll probably try LOE too at some point.
