After the Indiana drill, we decided to catch this very healthy Model 7 in Ossian for a noon blast. Ossian has this siren, a Model 2 (which also does noon blasts), and a T-128. The wind had definitely picked up between Fort Wayne and here. I was honestly debating on whether to upload this or not, as my shot kept drifting to where the siren got really close to the top of the frame, and the wind didn't help with that. In the end though, I decided to upload it anyway and just use the wide-shot during the more shaky parts of the video, which is why it's on the wide-shot for a good chunk of the wind-down. The blast was very short for us, with it only reaching peak-pitch for about a second. We did run up to it as it was sounding, but it wound down a few seconds before we could get right under it. It definitely seemed loud from under though, with my meter topping at 124.6 dBC if I recall correctly. We might have to come back here at some point on a less windy day and stand under it the whole time to know for sure how loud it is from under. Enjoy!
