If you like sirens, this channel is for you! I mainly record sirens throughout Ohio, but I do occasionally record stuff out of state as well. I also make videos of fire alarms, as well as synths of sirens from scratch from time to time. If you enjoy my videos, be sure to like, comment, and subscribe!
Also, if anyone is interested, I have a 2nd channel for non-siren related stuff, although I don't post often on there.
I wonder what’s wrong with the chopper motor, if that’s what’s going funky 🤔 hopefully it gets fixed some stage soon! nonetheless, great video and I love its chopper level 4 pitch whatever the deal with it is 😁
The old Thunderbolt in our town stopped working some months back, but it didn’t suffer or sound like this one. We also used only one pitch for the longest time (lower pitch) before eventually moving to the higher pitch. Then we got another one and we stuck to the high pitch. (I don’t know what causes the hi-lo pitches so I apologize ahead of time for the confusion)
Actually, the chopper motor is an A-series. This whole unit is a combination of parts from various different Thunderbolts. It has an A-series head, B-series RCM, and a C-series blower. Quite the interesting combo, to say the least.
It's basically the same thing. When ACA became ASC, they changed the name of the P-50 to the T-135 AC. Later on, it was succeeded by the T-135 AC/DC, which looks more like a T-128 with a bigger horn, and is probably what you typically think of when you hear "T-135".
This sounds horrible compared to when I heard it last in 2021. If this gets swapped with something besides a 4/5 I sure will miss it. When It was sounding right it was the best sounding bolt in the system.
Awesome video! Hopefully next month I’ll be heading down to Union Twp. I was going to go earlier this month, but the threat of severe weather made me change plans.
