As a Nadal fan, I have got to say this was too good. The guys in this video (maybe not Berdych) are the best movers and athletes and Roger just juked them and make them fall like a dummie. It really is incredible.

Now we know why the big four other than Roger have so many injuries. Its because they had to play Federer so many times over the years and even when Federer lost to them he made them fall like dummies injuring their body. How many times they made Roger fall?

it's pleasure to watch him doing this, it is itself a world record that he made his opponents fall so frequently, it's simply genius. Though he lost too many matches to Djo and Rafa but one thing both of them can't compete with the champ is beauty, style, elegance, grace, wow what a class he was.

This points out how rickety Djokovic’s footwork is. He can run and slide, but his small-step adjustment is quite lacking, almost nowhere to be seen. He also tends to sometimes split-step too late, or not at all, so he may already be in mid-air or running when the shot comes to him, meaning he can’t change direction without completely losing his balance-his low-traction shoe soles add to this, such that if his feet aren’t completely planted on the ground, he has no hope of keeping his footing when trying to reverse his momentum. Plus, adjusting foot placement and placing the ball behind players are two of the many things at which Federer excels, meaning he almost never has a fall unless there is a net cord at a time at which there would otherwise be no reason to split-step.

In tennis you don't see many players fall. If you fall 9/10 times you will lose the point, hitting a winning while falling has the biggest chance but also almost impossible. So not staying on your feet is or an accident or last effort move when in trouble. Federer made players fall quite often, which tells me something about his insight in the game and technique/feeling. He might not be the biggest champion (anymore) but he did things regularly that no one else can do.

This video definitely confirms my observations for the past years... When à player falls he wins the match (Pospisil was the only exception in this video).

They have engineered the hard court shoes to be less grippy so one can slide but that also seems to be the reason for a lot of these slips. Can’t have it both ways I guess.

I know top college players, every now and then they get called up to play against Pros. They said, playing against Federer was like “playing tennis with roller skates on”. Not easy to do this to top Pros in the world. He is a class act.
