UPS wouldn’t entertain that in 100 years. FedEx is far inferior to UPS in every way. UPS workforce is stronger, and at least UPS drivers actually work for UPS.

I work at WHQ and they laid off 3 of the 6 people under my manager. All the 20+ year people. These rounds of lay off came from MD and above. My manager was blindsided by this and he is very unhappy with how they went about do it.

Lovepeace, the reason why FedEx lost your package is because someone forgot to check their address book like maybe a previous resident live at your home and they just moved. Your package isnt lost, it is just sent to the incorrect address aka the new resident previously lived at the old home of old address.

@@CMe-bk5ez I'll never forget that I had to call Apple to force Fedex to release and ship my package, when it was a city over. They produced a bogus reason for not being able to deliver it, but when Apple called them, they got their act together. Apple gives FedEx a lot of business. Never have issues with UPS. Drivers are nice and respectful; the same can't be said for FedEx workers.

Even if the contract was a break-even deal, it helped ensure that the planes were not operating at a loss, and anything else added to those flights was pure profit.

Have you ever met a fed ex contractor where he buys his own vehicle to work for the company to make alot of money with the fed ex truck logo on it where you think they’re a huge business but turns out if you have money to start with you can do it to . Most of those guys are big headed they use to eat at my diner all the time and complain about everything while they’re in charge of those routes . When I meet UPS workers or management team eating at the diner they’re always wondering how to improve the business for customers not talking down about their job or their customer .

I think you're referring to FedEx Ground contractors. They're highly exploited by FedEx and many of them are exploited by FedEx. FedEx Ground own their tractors (and or delivery vehicles) but don't own the trailers. I used to pull doubles for a contractor at FedEx Ground for a couple of years. There are too many contractors and those routes you mentioned don't pay that good anymore.

During covid (2020), I had to mail a document with original signature from Honolulu to Hong Kong. The post office told me they had stopped all delivery to and from Hong Kong. The only way to send the document was via express special delivery (FedEx). It cost me $95.00 to the 3-page document when regular airmail would have been like $2.00. What a ripoff.

Hahaha because they suck! App never correct on delivery times. Pick ups scheduled get pushed to next day. Horrible customer service, lies, excuses, different story from one employee to another. I worked there, any day the drivers are out too late they bring packages back and try again next day. Worse company ever!!!

Has anyone ever tried getting a hold of FedEx when a package is missing? It’s impossible and if you send your tracking to then they will send back it’s been delivered. I hate FedEx period!

This is going to suck, UPS absolutely sucks at delivering packages and they have garbage trucks for delivery vehicles. UPS is the WORST delivery service out there!! Way to go USPS, now your packages can be delivered by 2 garbage companies, USPS and UPS.

Amazon returns policy is getting worse, really bad. They sent the wrong part , looks the same, but was two inches longer than it should be. Their fault yet they want me to pay for return the wrong part. And this is not the first time. I questioned whether they ever planned on using the same rules that they used in their earlier years. Seems once they knocked out the competition and they became a monopoly they completely changed

UPS offered a cheaper contract then FedEx. That's obvious. Second, UPS is NOT who I want delivering my packages. UPS drivers do not leave your package, they throw it, drop it and kick them throw them during sorting and the drivers do not follow delivery instructions for the disabled. So no I will never use UPS and it's really a shame that the postal service would drop FedEx when they provide the best service hands down. UPS is only about making the most deliveries and rushing.

Contracting with the Government is always a losing proposition. They grind you into submission. While all Federal employees receive huge pensions, a lifetime of Medical, education, home loans and every other perc you can think of, like a glorified Gangster union propping up in some cases less than average employees

Because Fedex is charging alot more and shipping times are lagging. Ive never seen such poor customer service and all the intentional false arrival dates to make them look good so consumers will pick them. Im glad they lost it. Seems right for a company that has stopped caring about its customers. They need to start making it right for consumers and they need to make sure that those ship dates are accurate. And they say every time that there only esitmates well stop putting them up then or start making it right.

As a ex ups worker ups ass they be cutting hours and the little hours they give you they want you to work like a robot, or they will tell someone go home for they dont have to pay them and have you do your work and the guy who left work for they can reach the same producion numbers. And if you defend yourself they say well who has more seniority. Everyone i talked to has 2 jobs because at ups you dont make money unless your a driver. Shit remember i worked monday to Friday check came in $200 cause hours cut like damm lucky my 2017 camry payed off or i be fucked left 03/2024 worked 6 month their and shit i made more money at Walmart in 2 month no 🧢😂 but broke my back more at ups for penny change told my self "damm at least i made money at amazon"😭

Saw them send a guy unloading home and bro on my lame life i saw the manger come straight to me and wanted me to do it and i defend myself and said na im already doing someone elses work now u want me to go finish a guys job you just send home for you dont have to pay them. Them they like i asked around and your the onlyone available, and i said bullshit i saw you send mans home and come for my dumbass and he just goes well i have more seniority, and i laughed at him cause i like showing off my gold teeths i had the dentist put on me and i told mans have some other bum ass do it im going home besides i make more money sleeping at home than slaving here. Fedex is worst Worst service never gonna use Fedex for any shipment ever in my life . They hold my package for 10 freaking days and it was sitting in Memphis with no update on tracking and still not delivered yet till now I am writing this… such a failure….. USA companies are sinking ships and Fedex will be the first one . I am gonna sue Fedex that wasted my time money and caused my family of 8 emotional distress, frustration and depression.

I was working for USPS back in the sixties when they began to lose their parcel business to UPS. They didn't put up much of a fight because they were smug with their monopoly of first class mail. Then, in the nineties, they began to lose ground with their first class mail to e-mail and the internet.
