Yes! If you don't have enough time to check on those chicks (fledglings), the chance of them falling off from their nest box is very high. And they will be attacked by those violent adult birds in the colony resulting to high rate of death.

Beautiful birds but Very unhealthy diet. Bad for liver and kidneys. Also you need to take the one with scissors beak and have his beak trimmed to correct. A balanced diet consists of 80% fresh fruits and veggies and then pellets at 10% and Seeds at 10%> Dried small insects occasionally as a treat. That being said your birds have beautiful variations in plumage. The Albino and lutino are breath taking as is the Black and white. The blue pied is quite beautiful as well
Good luck on your hand feeding! Middle of June (last month) i got back to hand feeding these little baby birds (10 of them but sadly, they are now down to 7) just this week, they are starting to fly but still they go back to my hand to perch and i feed them baby food.
