It would have been cheaper to get that stuff at Aldi. Their pasta is the same price, and their sauce is $1.59 and the roasted garlic one is unbelievably good.
You should give Aldis another try. They're definitely cheaper than Walmart and their quality is better, too. They also have isles called "Aldis finds" with all cheap stuff too. They do have name brand stuff, but some of their brand is just a good than the name brand. Trust me, I used to be a brand snob. I love Aldi's tho.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Aldi may not have a lot of things “name brand” but they have comparable products that are just as good and a lot cheaper than Walmart. I can spend $100 at Aldi and for the same stuff it would be $140 probably at Walmart
I always add sugar to my spaghetti sauce are anything I cook that is tomato base I always had a little sugar it cut the acid in the tomato sauce because the tomatoes give me indigestion and the sugar helps
Aldis is my favorite! I check the ads at all the stores. I go to whatever store has the best deals. Then I go to Aldi's for everything else, because they are the cheapest in my area. I only go to Walmart for odds and ends. Aldi has grass fed beef currently for $3.99 a pound......the 85/15. It's cheaper than the less quality grain fed burger.
You Could have save a lot making your own sauce. I have been using Rachel Rays spaghetti sauce recipe for the last 20 years. Once I learned how to make my own sauce, I never purchased pergo or regu ever again. It is so easy!
