Gregory Smith you can set the keys by your self. so he set the red one as his snare (left pad in the front of him) , the yellow as his hi hat (left cymbal pad), this "line" as his kick (foot trigger ) and so one ;) so it's mostly like playing real drums and that way he knows what to do

Bingo. eKits use midi notes. So you can assign each pad to associate with a note that RB is looking for.

The game would have been SOOOO much more fun with a legit hi-hat pedal mechanic. When you get into real drumming, hi-hat tricks are ridiculously fun and addictive.

i like the fact that he cut out the sound from him playing irl so all you could hear was the music. It's a nice touch. It bothers me when i watch other videos and you can just hear them banging away on the drum set. I give amends to you sir. Bravo.

+Wynter Schroeder The whole point of being in a band is to suck! You suck, and suck some more. Sound like shit, and your legs hurt but for some reason you keep wanting to play! That's all part of the fun :D If you're experiencing a delay as you suggested, you may want to try calibrating your audio/video in the settings

It's beyond me that they never added a pedal function for a hi hat accent. I feel it would be a fairly simply alteration of the 2nd pedal or rather a 3rd I suppose

This is Rock Band 3 and is indeed available for Xbox 360. Not sure where you can get the game and accessories though since this came out in 2010.

Something I noticed now that bothers me too all hell, I expected that open hi hats in pro mode would be kept as yellow cymbal notes but you are still expected to treat them as separate notes, I thought it was an okay choice for normal drums but on pro drums it really feels weird to have it that way.

Agreed. It's unfortunate you can't set a midi note for the hi hat controller so it just hits the hi hat differently. I'm sure there was an idea to do so eventually but given harmonix completely abandoning peripherals, who knows!

It's DDRUM's DD1. It's a real ekit. More information in the description. It's a great practice kit, just happens to work well in RB while utilizing the Midi adapter.

Rock Band is not available for PC. This is RB3, on XB360. I play RB4 on XB1 currently (in the newer videos)
