Natalie, one thing I'm so impressed with is how you never throw the outdated parts of your home "under the bus". So often people dismiss old homes and just don't show things until they are shiny and new. Your attitude really helps me feel content with my own home. Thanks!

Oh Natalie, I understand and feel your “loss.” My sweet Mom of 90 years old was called home to her Lord in October. God was gracious and took her very peacefully and for that I am grateful. She too joins her loving husband of 65 years who passed 2 years ago. What a joyous Christmas in heaven she will be experiencing! Continue making all those sweet memories with your little family. And yes, God is near to the broken hearted! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄

I lost my grandpa (Papa) Larry in September (September 11th) and Christmas was his favorite time of year, he was a preacher and he served the Lord for as long as I can remember. He was my rock and world, and now he’s in heaven with our creator, and he’s now my angel 👼🏼 🤍🤍🤍🤍 I love your videos Natalie! Keep going, the grief never really leaves but it does get easier! 🤍

Your tribute to your precious grandmother made me cry. My dad passed away on December 18, 2012. It is hard to lose a loved one but I think even harder during the holidays. The hope we both have in Christ is what gets us through times of grief. We both have lost loved ones who leave wonderful legacies of loving the Lord and being truly at home. My daddy died a week before Christmas 5 years ago. It was sudden and unexpected and the grief will always be hard around the holidays. Having my 3 very young children and seeing their joy around this time helps me through. It’s ok to feel the grief and enjoy the season all at once. Sending love to you and your family. 💕

I had tears in my eyes. Your Grandma looks sweet same as your mother. My grandmother sadly passed away this summer at 91 years😪 and my elder sister year before that. God gives us tests and also mercy to be closer to Him.

Sweet Natalie, the love for your grandma is precious, she will always be with you, you are probably much like her, and will pass those attributes to your daughter…👧🏼. I lost my grandparents early, never met one grandma. I now am caring for my mom for 11 years now in my home. Last year or so she has developed dementia…she still mostly recognizes my husband and I and her granddaughter. We are grateful to our Lord for that blessing…May the Lord Jesus Christ be worshipped as He deserves everyday of our lives. God bless you and your sweet family! 🙏🏻. I lost my grandma 2 years ago on St. Nicholas Evening. I still miss her every single day and am so sorry for your loss, i really know what you are going through. My grandma means christmas to me. She cooked the dinner for the hole family every single year and made everything smell amazing. I remember all the times we baked together and reading books. They are still there and looking at us and protecting us... forever in our hearts ❤ sending you all the love and prayers

My grandmother passed 12/8/21... She is a 4hr plane ride away and I was lucky enough to make it and say my goodbyes. I sat next to her and held her hand for hours on my last visit. She's the first big loss on my dad's side of the family and we all feel it so deeply. She too was a woman of faith and I find comfort in knowing she's where she's always prayed to be one day. You and your family are in my thoughts this season. Merry Christmas!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your grandmother, Natalie. Last week on 12/8, at 3am, my husband received a phone call that his grandmother suddenly passed away while in the hospital. Even though she wasn't my biological grandmother, she was a grandmother to me and was so supportive of my husband and I and we are greiving. You definitely are not alone in your grief and my prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for being a safe space to open up and may the lord continue to bless you and your family and fill you with comfort over the holidays and beyond.

I lost my Nana in 2017. Christmas time is always hard because she always had the lovely Fontanini nativity and it wrapped around the entire large tree and up the stairs (mountains and a waterfall) a river and roads. It was the absolute best. My kids will never experience that =( I miss her so much and "midnight" mass is incredibly hard without her because all of those songs remind me of her. I know she is so happy with the Lord, but I wish I had more time so she could have known more of my kids ♡

I literally cried as you shared about losing your grandma at the end of the video. My parents don't know Jesus so you reminded me not to give up praying for them as i often fear for them in their 70's and not having that peace to know that Heaven awaits them. I'm so sorry about the passing of your grandma. It is so hard but definitely a comfort to know they are home with their spouses. I have lost all of my grandparents. My grandma was actually on New Year's Eve and it hit me very hard. I had got engaged on Christmas eve and we came to visit my grandma and tell her and she was napping. My father worked at her nursing home and I said we didn't want to wake her because she looked so peaceful. She passed a week later. I really wish I had talked to her that last time. Enjoy the time with your family. I always enjoyed seeing distance realities and how family comes together in death It is such a blessing and definitely helps in the grieving process.

My grandmother left us for covid last summer and definitely this Christmas will be very different without her, she was the force that united us all and she finished the Christmas carols that nobody knew ... and the fact of not being able to fire her due to the covid regulations and that she died alone in the hospital was very hard… My little son was born 7 weeks ago, and she has not been able to meet him, but i know she is by my side every minute. what beautiful words of yours, when I feel alone I will think about what you said: the Lord is near to me ❤️ and my grandma too 🙏🏽❤️

Sorry for your loss, it was a beautiful tribute to end the video. I lost my grandmother this year in February right before our religious month of Ramadan. It was a tough one especially since she loved spending the month with us no matter which uncle she was staying with. We were blessed because she decided to move in with us about 4-5 years ago. We spend each Ramadan together so this one was especially hard, but we knew she was having a great one in heaven. Breaking her fast with the prophet (pbuh). The way speak of your grandmother, I know that she is in heaven spending Christmas is the most magical place ever! May God make this time easy on you and your family 😘.

Sorry for your loss. But at the same time how far has your grandma made it in her life. She looks like way beyond the typical age of seniors passing away. What a blessing. RIP. 🙏 I almost lost my mom in November. Thank god she made it through and is still in recovery. She has serious health problems for long and one day it just came to almost the end. My mom is turning 65 in a few days.

The way you talk about your grandmother is so beautiful and those video fragments are to be treasured forever. I lost my grandma december 30th last year after not being able to see her for about a year due to you know what, she was in a retirement home. She had been sick for a few weeks and my kid was a bit sick so I didn't dare to go see her, hoping she would recover. When my aunt told me she didn't have much longer I was almost 6 months pregnant with my second I rushed over and i arrived ten minutes late. I regret waiting and I still think about her so often. I'm so sad she never got to meet my girl. I am not an avid believer but I like to think she's up there, watching over me and my little ones together with grandpa. Natalie I'm so sorry for your loss. Your grandma was a beautiful woman . I've had many losses in December, my mom died 16 years ago on December 6th. I still miss your daily, last night at church we were singing silent night and I just broke down crying. My nephew passed last year on Christmas eve and my father-in-law passed 8 years ago on new years eve. My dad had brain surgery the day after Christmas. It's been so hard but I too know they are all with the Lord.

I just recently lost my grandmother too, less than 2 weeks ago The way you talked about her is the most beautiful way anyone could say about losing a loved one. We are in our first (military) home as a family with 2 littles and I always get so inspired by your videos. You’re so down to earth and your mindset on life and materialistic things always helps me fight the pressures of “keeping up with the jones” when it comes to our new home. We’re really looking forward to creating holiday traditions for our girls this year and embracing the amazing grace and love God has showed us through this crazy year. I lost my Grandma Judy 7 years ago last month. Right after my 3rd daughter was born. She influenced my entire life and helped me raise my 2 older children. Nothing stronger than a grandmother / granddaughter bond💕 So sorry for your loss of your sweet Grandma Judy❤️ she will be celebrating with Jesus this year 🙏🏼

What a beautiful description of the joy in the midst of sorrow. God bless your Christmas and your little break from RU-vid. That Christmas village piece is such a lovely thing to get in our grandma's honor. I have a necklace that says, "God is bigger" that I always try to wear in times of sorrow or when I need an extra reminder. It's like another "it is well" for me, similar to your "near" necklace. That's beautiful. It's so cool how God can bring us comfort through small material things that can point us to Him. They aren't necessary, but they're special and helpful. 💕

Oh Natalie - I am so very sorry about your grandma's parting ♥On the other hand, I am also happy for you that you have such a beautiful, special Angel in Heaven watching over you & your sweet family!! Just like everything in life there is always the Yin and the Yang - the Balance...Always! Greif over those we have lost and Gratefulness for the time we had with them. I wish you strength throughout the holiday season & beyond as you miss your special Grandma! How special to be spending Christmas in the presence of God and the Holy Family, can you imagine?!?--although she will for sure be Upstairs wishing she could ease your grieving. I lost both of my beloved grands suddenly Christmas week 20+ years ago, and i still miss them + their crazy lovable holiday antics. All of us that have had the privilege of amazing, active, and compassionate grands are all so truly blessed. Hugs + love to all who are missing someone this holiday. I just love you Natalie! Been watching your channel for years. Thank you for your consistent example of Jesus! You are so blessed to have been raised in your family who love the Lord. I'm sorry for your loss of your sweet Grandma Judy. I love love love how you showed what it means to mourn her loss but celebrate her life, and how she is now in God's glory, which makes you smile even though you miss her. I lost my dad to cancer 3 years ago, and this time of year is really hard because I miss him so much. But I have new perspective, to see that he is now in God's glory and celebrating with Jesus, and one day I'll get to be there with him in God's glory. I'm proud of you for taking care of your mental health and taking next week off. Merry Christmas to you sweetie!

I wanted to share the saying from an ornament I got the first Christmas after my grandma died: "I love you all dearly, Now don't shed a tear, I'm spending Christmas With Jesus this year." I hope your grandma and mine get to meet each other up there because it sounds like they would get along wonderfully.

I am not a strong believer but I loved how you found comfort in memories, how much she meant for you and your family but most of all that she would be spending christmas in heaven with your grandpa... thats beutiful and it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside - thinking of my own grandmother who passed about a year ago. She was a lot like your grandmother - accepting and loving to all people -regardless of who they were. I have tried to take the best sides of her and made them my own life standards to live by ... that everyone who comes over my doorstep is welcome and if they are hungry they shall be fed...:) thats my grandmother in a nutshell.

I lost my dad on Christmas Eve 2019. He was in a Veteran’s center near to us. I happened to be walking into my church’s Christmas Eve service when i got the call. I found comfort in my church family.
