Christinia Williams she had the oppurtunity though she rejected because she wanted to be exclusively canadian, her music is being noticed on mtv and stuff so wish het luck.
Sadly... it's because she stuck to her guns. They wanted her to be pop and she wanted a band. So her label dropped her and she had to shop around with her first album. So she didnt get a lot of the backing, promition and such that the major label would have given her. Interestingly enough, her original label picked her back up again, for her third label Joy. Not surprising that it was more... pop oriented (Even though I Cant Breathe was produced by Bob Ezrin) but also got a lot more promotion. I honestly thought the world was going to hear about her as much as I had. I dont know, it kind of seems like her pattern has always been putting out an album, then disappearing for a while. If I recall correctly, the last place I saw her was on an episode of Degrassi. Wait... there was a song about LA, after that, I think.
I love this song! Honestly, there is never a song that Fefe puts out that I have not liked. She gets better and better with time. Something needs to happen with her American label because her new stuff is too kick ass not to be available down here. Stop leaving America hanging! We need our Fefe too!
WTH FEFE DOBSON IS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. She has been around longer than most mainstream singers and she sings 10 times better than them. Her songs are amazing and meaningful. She should be much more famous then she is. I heard something about her rejecting something in the past but honestly I agree her breakthrough with stuttering in 2010 should have put her on the map yet nobody seems to notice her as much. :/ fefe
I discover really by chance this wonderful Canadian singer but it's true she deserve much more than to be reduced to be a Canadian shining star. I leave in France I can tell you that there's really few who know even her most famous hits Stuttering or legacy. Anyway, I start to make my friends listen to her charming voice and style. Forget about Rihanna, Vote for Fefe Dobson !

In the U.K. we only had her debut album released, and Stuttering. I contacted her management asking why her later music wasn’t available here and they didn’t seem to care! I had to import her later music!

While I personally do not particularly like her recent efforts, I am, and still will always be a Fefe fan. She is an amazingly talented singer and I am proud she has always stuck to her vision and never let the labels dictate her life.
