Felix Biederman is not only one of the hosts of the acclaimed podcasts Chapo Trap House, he is helped make the five-part MMA documentary on SB Nation called 'Fighting in the Age of Loneliness'. I listen to chapo regularly and they have never predicted anything correctly. Wrong about Bernie 2016 Wrong about the 2016 election Wrong about the 2018 midterms Wrong about the Kavanaugh nomination Wrong about Bernie 2020 I had a longer list at home. If their ideology was reflective of reality, it would be PREDICTIVE of reality. They're funny, but they're full of shit.

they didn't "get into politics" because of gamergate, they used gamergate as a launchpad to reject anything remotely left leaning because feminist critique doesn't mix well with insulated online male groups. No one that actually gave a shit about gamergate did anything remotely political beyond complaining about feminists and sjws on youtube and 4chan, and if they took it further they're prolly some alt right dick at this point.

I liked when Luke asked him if he had any response to people saying he was just trying to insert left wing talking points in to MMA for no reason and Felix's answer was essentially "Oh, wow, that's a compliment. I'm dumb, my friends are much better at regurgitating socialist left wing politics".

Love MMW but to be fair his videos almost always approach MMA one fighter and their immediate history and connections at a time, this doc spanned a much much wider range. I felt like its looser "train of thought" vibe was enjoyable too
