Yes Oscar kept his distance and surely gave the last three rounds away but should not have resulted in a loss because Oscar won every round before that. This will go down as the worst decision of that decade.

This fight was historical in its heyday I remember everyone going crazy saying the fight was robbed or rigged. This was fucking boxing.

A very close fight IMO. Lots of hard rounds to score. I thought Trinidad just edged it down the stretch. He connected the heavier, more damaging blows and Oscar lost steam down the stretch.

Oscar knew how to stick the jabs but Felix Trinidad kept coming to trade equal shots. Beautiful bout.

I am a Tito fan. This fight was easy to score after Oscar started running. Oscar was winning, but he gave in to the "Mayweather" type fight. And in those days that did not exist. The aggressor often gets the decisions. I saw Tito win, but just barely. This was as close to a draw as any fight can get. They SHOULD have fought again.

Oscar won but he was tired on round 10 and 11 but gave him round 12 because he thought he was ahead...Smh

Don't complain about the loss, Oscar decided to run and you can't do that in boxing. I'm glad they didn't give him the win even if he was ahead at some point because it would have encouraged other boxers to do this crap.
