I dont understand why a smaller mill run at a higher RPM gives a better finish. Isnt the speed of the cutting edge the same whether its a small diameter at high RPM or a large diameter at low RPM?
. Your correct, my reasoning is flawed, I am running them run at the same surface speed. It appears from a quick bit of research that what may actually be giving the better finish could be the reduced cutting force which makes sense on the rotary table where the setup is less rigid.
