Felling Utility Cable Reel Operation 

This video gives an overview of the basic use and operation of a Felling Trailers Utility Cable Reel trailer. Operator(s) should always wear appropriate safety gear when using/operating the trailer. Unlock spring-loaded "lock pins" on each side, roadside and curbside, of the trailer. Remove Teel Bar Retainer pins on each side, roadside and curbside, of the trailer. Once lock pins are unlocked and reel bar retainer pins have been removed, move reel into position. Lower reel loader using the remote pendant. Remote pendant is located inside the hydraulic system storage box on the front of the trailer. Remove reel bar and slide through reel, install collars tight to reel, and position reel between uprights. Once reel is loaded on the reel bar with collars tightened, move reel loader to the appropriate height, then load reel onto reel holder. After the reel/reel bar are in position on the reel holder, raise to the appropriate level using the remote pendant. Once in position, install the reel bar retainer pins on both roadside and curbside of the reel holder. Lock spring-loaded "Lock Pin" by pulling outward and rotating until pin locks in place, repeat on the curbside of the trailer.
