Felt this in my chest!! Dan Vasc- Metal Singer Performs "Amazing Grace" *REACTION* 

I am an 80 year old woman who loves music. I discovered Dan Vast about three weeks ago. I listen to him everyday sometime more than once. I still get goose bumps every time. I have watched many critiques on this performance. Let me say that none have been as heart felt as yours. You let him shine and you showed how it affected you in such a genuine way. Your reaction was a heartfelt as his performance of this beautiful song. Thank you.

I’m a 70 year old woman who can’t listen to Dan’s rendition of Amazing Grace enough. The quality of his voice along with the obvious sincerity placed in each word makes me believe I can touch the face of God. I spent my 30’s and 40’s as a professional Christian singer and worked with some amazing musicians but NO ONE compares to what Dan does to this song!

I hadn't listened to music in 15 years. Depression had stolen my love for it. A girlfriend sent me amazing Grace. I didn't open it for about 4 days. But when I did, I was mesmerized. When he got to the part about bright shining as the sun. My tears flowed, my heart was full, my soul dropped to its knees and not only did I have a come back to God moment, my love for music was reborn. So, because I listen to something I didn't want to hear by somebody I had never heard of, on a day I was so bored I actually opened a music video, my life was changed. Now I am a huge fan of Mr Vasc and I can't get enough of music. Revisiting the old and discovering the new. I will say this, the reason my generation of bands are still around 40 and 50 years later it's because they made the best music ever. I wonder how many of today's bands will be around in 40 or 50 years? Maybe a few. Great show. Love your reaction❤

Daniel is a musical genius. He becomes the song he sings. Interestingly, he commented that after his faith grew stronger, he started to choose his covers more carefully - to try to convey to people only high-vibration emotions such as joy, gratitude and power. And, yes, he's classically trained and sings everything - from opera to Disney - but loves 80s brass.

Dan Vasc is awesome. I am a young 74 and really never listened to Metal music. This song blew away I only listen to Christian songs but now I ha e played thos song about 20 times in the few days. He has Elvis covers from several years back that he did as a tribute to his father who was a huge Elvis fan - five days after his father's death. His emotion just bubbled up to the top, along with real tears. He does movie, TV, video game, folk, medieval, Disney, and Stephenwolf. The man is a musical genius.

An amazing song from God through a sinner involved in the slave trade. God turned his heart around and lobbied parliament to abolish slavery. This is the first song I taught my daughter how to sing when she was little I’d carry her around the house singing amazing grace. May God have mercy on all who call upon His name.

I'm an 80 year old women AND not a fan of heavy metal music BUT I heard him sing this a couple of weeks ago, it's one of favorites so I listened. My reaction was like yours WOW. I also like his rendition of Angels We Have Heard On High.

He doesn't like touring, he is a totally independent artist, he has his own band and takes care of and works with his voice with extreme care - each recorded video takes him at least 3 days (1 for vocal exercises and warm-ups, 1 for recording with several taps and the third to remain completely silent, resting the vocal cords).

not another language, but his brazilian accent comes out strong in that 3rd verse. I get the chills every time I listen, but part of that is the Holy Spirit, and part the amazing pipes he has. He sings with so much emotion. You can tell this song truly means something to him.

I recently found about Dan Vasc from this same video. Watching someone else experiencing him singing Amazing Grace for the first time is phenomenal. He did a live chat and said his Dad had given him the harmonica for his 7th birthday. Sadly he lost his Dad to cancer. I could be wrong but I have read a lot of comments on the last couple of songs he put out and I think this song does mean a lot to him especially since his Dad passed fairly recently. The song he sang before this one ends with tears running down his face and commentors offering their condolences on his fathers passing.

The history of this Precious Hymn is little know by most who have heard it. We hope you will investigate on your own. The way Mr. Dan Vasc sings and preform’s this Beautiful Hymn, is as if it was waiting to be sung at this precise time by Dan, when the world need’s to be touch by the limitless power of All of Our Creators power. To make necessary change’s, not for other’s, but within OURSELVES, to change the out come of ALL HUMANITY. The Original author of the song, facing his own extinction, was given a second chance to live by the Grace of God Almighty, to change his heart condition and Value All LIFE, thus set a path that saved many other lives.
