Glad to see these ladies stand up for fairness. Women have been fighting for there rights for so many years. To see biological men taking advantage of that fight is sickening.
Thank you.. this is what needs to be done. Much love and respect for all biological female disc golfers standing up to this. I support every one of you. ❤❤
We stand behind you. I know a lot of people are too afraid to say how they really feel, which makes it SEEM like the other side has more support, but this is DEF not the case. We all know damn well what a real man and a real woman is, and we know damn well that a man claiming to be a woman has biological advantages over females. Please don't ever stop fighting against this insanity.
Thank you, Women! Thank you for holding the line for women and girls. Thank you for fighting for my, and all, childrens future in sports. THANK YOU!💖✊🏿♀️
I stand with the female disc golfers and support their decision to do whatever they choose for the sport they compete in. Let female disc golf stay a true female division and continue to move on in that direction. Thank you to all the ladies and men that showed up to support this amazing sport and the women who compete in it ❤
I’m a male 56 yrs old who plays in age protected division, I can’t compete against younger guys, so I can understand completely, I support you ladies 110% I would like to say I am disappointed that there were not more top MPO and FPO players there to support your protest. Just want to say that I commend, Sarah and Catrina for their leadership and bringing this to the forefront you are brave, strong independent women who are not scared to voice your opinion, great job on the protest. Hopefully it will get bigger in the future or my greatest hope is you won’t have to fight this fight anymore. Stay strong ladies, so PROUD of you for standing up for fairness and equality. 🫶👏🏻👊💪
I wonder if a young guy could identify as an "old soul" and compete in the older divisions; that's tongue in cheek but given the state of our country it's only a matter of time. Good for these women for standing strong! Katrina and Sara just jumped up in my book.
very humbling. Stand proud ladies and maintain that dignity. It will shine a light on this issue and in a way that cannot be criticised as being anti transgender. Good luck to you all for the remainder of the season. You are amazing. And thanks also to the guys who were there in the background in support. It was heartening to see.
Can't believe it's come to this. It shows our society is regressing in a huge way. Proud of all the women and men willing to stand up for what is Fair and Right (for my daughters sake) Shame on Natalie and all biological males trying to cheat their way to the top. Zero respect will ever be given to them. Gannon, big up bro! Kristin, you were the first I saw speaking out on Brody's podcast, you're inspiring and brave and now my favorite player ;) Love all of you, and know that We support you 100%
Lmao oh yes shame shame on us for existing and trying to play a sport that we want to get into and get kicked out of it just because of being Transgender. More so shame on you and the other bigoted FPO and MPO players that support this movement. Transgender folks are players too and we won't stand for this discrimination.
Oh yes support they bigoted ideology that is a fantasy land 🙄. Natalie is just trying to play in a division where she belongs. It's pretty disgusting how you are treating this poor lady, just utter disrespectful.
Well said ladies! As a long time player, we have always encouraged and supported women to play and compete, as there were never enough women players back in the day! Now with so many amazing, talented female players, I will say we agree and have your back on this subject, don't let anyone stop our sports' momentum, this is not about hate, just fairness in the sport. Thank you for speaking up, We expect the PDGA to uphold the fairness of the division, regardless of confused, biased local judges! A part of me would love to see these women solidly whip a certain players butt on the playing field, regardless of him being born a man, but that is my testosterone speaking! FIGHT! We the VAST majority of players are with you.
I'm speechless... the fact that this is necessary is mind-boggling to say the least. What the 🤬 is going on in the world? It hasn't reached my country yet, and I pray it never will.
I am so proud all of you are speaking out and asking for fairness. It’s so mind blowing how people are blind to basic facts. Please stand guard and don’t budge even in the face of some blind keyboard warriors.
Class and courage right there. Even though you all have no "boss" it has got to be hard to navigate the world of sponsorship and social pressures. It would have been much easier to let the PDGA battle this in court and "no comment" your way through. Every single person standing up here should be very proud of themselves. Thank you.
Great job taking a Public stand for what is right! it is not easy to make a stand against the world for what is RIGHT but all of you did! Great Job!! Standing Applause!
That was excellent. I have been bothered by Natalie Ryan entering the woman’s division. It’s so wrong on so many levels. I’m a huge fan of watching both Men’s and woman’s disc golf. I even called the PDGA 2 years ago and complained. It’s so nice to see the woman stand up for themselves. I’m so proud of all of you.
So proud of all of these ladies and men standing in solidarity not giving into public pressure from political activists who don't care about people, children, or the future of competitive activities with women. Keep it grounded in reality, compassion and understanding and we will win this battle and find a way to be even more inclusive without hurting women's sports or excluding anyone else. Fantastic job by all who stood together, thank you.
Congratulations on your win here in Minnesota Catarina. As a father of a daughter, I can’t thank you enough for standing up to the ridiculous state government we have here. Unfortunately, it’s much worse than just the women’s sports here. During June, they had festivals where an old, grown man in nothing but his underwear was basically exposing himself sexually to kids and due to his “orientation”, that’s not just allowed and protected here, but encouraged. It’s a very dark and sad time we’re living in America right now. God bless you!
I very happy for you all taking a stand. This was Well thought out, professional and strait to the point. Go get em girls. Best of luck to everyone involved in your cause.
I think the best strategy is to focus on biology. Females produce large gametes, and by define the female division as limited to those people who possess (or possessed) the organs necessary to produce large gametes. Hormones are best treated as performance-enhancing substances, not as sex indicators.
Bravo! Not a hateful word from anyone here. Just brave women (as well as men in the background) standing up for a principle that is biologically factual, scientifically proven, athletically fair, spiritually sound, morally right, and historically consistent, albeit politically incorrect, socially risky, and (unfortunately) becoming more and more legally endangered by amoral judges, legislators, and politicians. Hold the line... stand strong... fight...
I am not against Natalie as a person, or her desire to compete in disc golf. People need to understand this is not "transphobia" as that term is more of a slogan/assumption in this situation. Natalie can play in the Mixed Pro Open (MPO) division and compete.
Sarah, so impressed with your words and your cogent thoughts on the issue. I know this is a tough situation for you women/FPOs to have kept silent for fear of reprisals/cancellation. I am SO glad you had this opportunity to express yourselves and speak to YOUR truth. We are experiencing a seemingly world-wide (mostly Western), non-organic socio-cultural experiment.
The fact that “recent science” has to prove this is sad. It was common sense and basic anatomical & physiological knowledge proved all of this as self evident. There were more LOGICAL, scientific, and practical arguments proving the athletic and performance advantages then the latter. Thankfully women all over including these brave ladies, facing the ever so possible boycott cancel culture crowd, are getting louder. Hopefully soon biological girls all over won’t have to face the discrimination they have had faced.
I love everything about this, but please with a speech of this gravity can we do it inside. A majority of the speech was hard to soak in. I don't know if there is a way to re-edit this to take the wind sound out. I just want to reiterate that I am 100% in support of this effort and hope that the changes can be made too prevent this nuisance from happening.
Good for you ladies. So happy you are not afraid to speak out and share your thoughts and feelings. This is about fairness in sports period. We stand with you!!!!
This isn't about trans, it's about fair play. The divisions in sports are based on exposure to a hormone. No fault against trans women, but it shouldn't be at the expense of fair play for females that can't produce/have been exposed to testosterone.
Great job ladies!!!! I am so proud of each and every one of these female athletes for taking a stand to protect women's sports. If more female athletes will do this then women's sports will regain the integrity and fairness that sports are meant to emulate.
I concur with these women's sentiments. They are 100% correct, and I support them wholly. I found it odd that the judge in Minnesota, stated the pain n suffering that Natalie was experiencing but neglected to understand the REAL pain and suffering being experienced by all the REAL female competitors? What a shame. I wish you the best in returning female sports back to females #3948
Minnesota--the state where women's sports dies. Shameful. Kudos to these incredible female disc golfer for their courage in standing up for women's sports!
Thank you so much for fighting for fairness for females in sport. Sarah mentioned that the male biological advantage remain after transitioning. I would like to add that throwing things is where males enjoy their biggest advantage. Males are better at using the hips to snap the rest of the body. Research has not revealed the reason for this and it is speculated that it is neurological. There is no way to know if that has been changed by transitioning.
All women need our support now that their sport, privacy and safety is being taken away from them in the guise of a "gender" agenda. This is simply shocking to the core. Keep strong women, we stand with you! ❤
They need to refuse to play. That is the ONLY way this all ends. Enough talking, women have power if they come together and demand the preservation of THEIR sport, THEIR opportunities.
It's not easy to convince EVERYONE to refuse to play. There are girls who never win anything and if they see that a bunch of other girls are dropping from a tournament, they might think "now I've got a chance!". See what I mean? You need to convince those.
@@m4sl_academy Yeah, against these men. Next time it will be men that actually have athletic ability and will destroy them. The principle is more important than short term "victory". If they believe they should not have to compete against men in a women's competition, then they should demand it to be or else not compete. Otherwise, they are doomed to be accommodating men and be happy when they get to win, and have to grin & bear it when the men win.
@@youuuuuuuuuuutube Yeah, of course it is not easy to get everyone to join the protest. Look at unions. But they should at least try to shame both the men and those who would accommodate / placate the men at the expense of women.
@@gregmoore1781 you are not giving women players enough credit!! According to PDGA less than 5 percent of total disc golf players rate over 1000. Kristin is 976. Average amateur men rank 850. It’s not like it would be easy for a mediocre male to cross to the FPO and win. The cut off for FPO is 888, but the majority of the current FPO’s rank over 950. These women are already DESTROYING (as you put it) most men who play. I watched Vanessa van dyken play through a round at my local course and she out drove and played all of the regulars out there with a putter and she’s mid pack. Plus the argument that men are just going to pile in the FPO category to win is ridiculous. How many of your buddies (for the previous standards of testosterone less than 2 mols/ml when Natalie qualified to play) want to be full of estrogen just to be a pro disc golfer?? Bottom surgery anyone??? You can win a measly 5000 per win come on it’s so worth it! In a world where everyone is worried about eating to much soy because it could diminish your testosterone, or needing to tan the jewels to be a stronger guy according to some media people. Thinking that guys are going to go that far (if they are not transgender) for playing disc golf is so absolutely absurd!!
In this day and age, this is extremely brave. I hope that trans women are able to find a space to compete but competing against women simply isn't fair.
So great to see all these women standing together to speak what out in support of keeping women's sports a protected space for women to compete. And shame on those women athletes and others who choose to stay silent and/or ignore basic biological facts.
both DGPT and Jomez coverage didn't mention NR one time. they did show the name on the leaderboard, but the commentators didn't say the name once... GOOD FOR THEM!!!! that person doesn't deserve any more attention.
You can block the wind on the microphone by shielding it or finding an attachment that deals with wind. It would go a long way to improving sound quality. Sound quality seems to be such a low priority and it drives me crazy sone times. Having said that, I’m with these women 110%.
Anyone here now, at the start of the new season? This is unbelievable. Just because of this clip, I found out how many pros really are against this. That's great, but it's sad to see that it doesn't matter. We are living in a weird world. I have nothing against the person, but I'm against this madness which is hurting women's disc golf. 20:50 it's unbelievable how our society has scared us to not speak our minds. I'm glad you ladies have the courage to do so.
I support your effort at keeping sanity present within the society that we, each, must exist. It is unfair to allow a trans-gender athlete perform in competition of the opposite sex from that individual's birth. The Trans- issue becomes dysfunctional when attempting to mitigate definitive male dominance gained purely through gametes. I encourage your continued battle. You deserve to be able to play our sport without having to contend with such idiotacy.
Fact One- I already recognize every single FPO player shown in this vid. (^_^) (Been watching the FPO for over a decade even when the only coverage was captured by Terry Miller.) Fact Two- Both Enjoyed and Admired every one of you for the game play as well as the pure athletic demonstration of your talent(s). Fact Three- Didn't even know you had all banded/bonded together about this issue until the RU-vid algorithm plopped this video onto my splash screen. (O_o) Now that I do know? Subscribed to this Channel which brought this issue to my attention. Next steps? You ladies are the lead in this. Please keep us all informed on what we/I can do IRL that will further all of you in your efforts. (^_^)
Anyone here now, at the start of the new season? This is unbelievable. Just because of this clip, I found out how many pros really are against this. That's great, but on the other hand that means they (and all of us) have been still too quiet about this. And now we see what's happened. We are living in a clown world. I have nothing against the person, but I'm against this madness which is hurting women's disc golf. And where are those hardcore feminists when they are needed?
