One of the police officers fired in the wake of a sexual misconduct scandal has now filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city of La Vergne.
This is how adults behave when they don't want to accept accountability for their actions. Reverse the narrative and claim victimization. Unwanted pressure or solicitations for sex can be handled by filing harassment charges instead of "giving in," or outright quitting. She made her choices.

The issue is she didn’t make a logical decision here cause she chose to sleep with half of the department. LOL like you actually think a system of accountability exists for whistleblowers. They've been trying for years to get a bill passed so whistleblowers can get paid by the government. Once the come forward it destroys any potential of employment or career prospects.

She was a police officer, who had been trained to carry a firearm and protect herself and others. No way in hell was she ever forced to do anything she didn’t want to do. In reality, she’s a homely, little woman who was receiving lots of male attention for the first time in her life. She loved the attention from these old, desperate, horn-dog cops, and she took full advantage of it. Everyone involved was a consenting adult. Take responsibility for your actions, admit you all made some big mistakes, and move on with your lives. Now she’s unemployed so, she’s looking for a payout from the police department and/or city, since those city paychecks and benefits stopped rolling in. If I recall correctly, she wasn't exactly a stellar officer and had damaged a patrol unit due to poor driving a few times. Pretty sure that if such is the case then her personal records from the Department would be worth looking into when this goes to trial.
