This band is originally from Albuquerque NM , my band T.T Quick played all the same venues as Femme did back in the day they went on to get signed , Lorraine Lewis was a sweet heart and I was great friends with Rick Rael . Seeing this video brings back so many memories of my playing days in Albuquerque..

I've gotta admit, this band doesn't disappoint one bit. Especially with a music video like this, face melting riffs, amazing lyrics, a beautiful lead singer that's got a hell of voice. This is definitely right up my alley, 10 outta 10, perfect score all around.
Femme Fatale was an American hard rock band. Originally from Albuquerque, the band moved to Los Angeles and released one studio album before disbanding. Lead vocalist, Lorraine Lewis, restarted the band in 2013 with an all-female line-up which lasted until 2019 when she shuttered the band to join Vixen
One very beautiful and intelligent and talented woman...the legendary miss "Lorraine Lewis" gets me all steamed up🤘🤯🥰😊😍 it's a damn shame her band wasn't more popular like most bands were at that time, more popular in canada and Japan I guess but nothing in the USA!!! Great band and excellent songs with just one album in the band "Femme Fatale" released in the late1980s in 1988!!!!🎶🎵😍
This was a hit both on MTV and the radio. This along with "Waiting For The Big One" were there 2 biggest hits on the radio and on MTV. There tour was also successful. They recorded demos for a second album but were dropped by MCA when label management changed. The band broke up after this. Lorraine didn't want to pursue a solo career and by 1990, which was when the MCA issue occurred, Glam was wiped out by Grunge.
@@arlenebowers326 Those demos were finally released by Lorraine 2 years ago as "One More For The Road". They aren't mastered but it still blows the first album out of the water. Grunge was here to stay but it's a shame those demos never saw proper mastering. The songs are very good.

In those magical days, I was shaking my head at Anthrax and missed a lot of great bands . Now fill in the blanks and Femme Fatale is one of these groups . In short, I look and rejoice .
Love this song and video. I have this original cd from a display in a record store that has never been opened. Great underated band.. 80's rock is unmatched.
This was an era to be proud of, It was all about suggestion, the sex appeal of the artist is implyed, not completely and utterly shoved down your throat like the attention seeking of today. These artists cared about how they SOUNDED.

@@acenashton7296 my apologies Ace, i missled everyone saying this song denounced Christ but just to state that the song was originally writen about God. There was never a lyrical bridge part writen in this song (hear origanal version) until a few months before recording it.
Freshman class of 1965 (first year GenEx) I only have one thing to say. 80’s girls were the best. I married my high school sweetheart in 1987. She is still my 80’s girl. We have 2 grown kids and 4 grandkids. Life is good
I'm really glad that Lorraine is the frontwoman for Vixen, it just shows that this era of hard rock/glam metal has never really gone away and the original players such as Lewis are still keeping it relevant. Respect.

I only tripped over "Femme Fatale" on what was known as MTV ... which it isn't any longer, on the "Headbanger's Ball". Loved them!!! I bought the cassette, yes, cassette and it was fantastic!!! A few years later, I learned from my sister who was at college in New Rochelle, NY, that at a local club she met Lorraine Lewis backstage and said that she was a very tiny lady, very sweet and kind to her fans. Wish I was there.
Never heard this band before. And now Lorraine Lewis is the lead singer of a band that I did like BITD, Vixen. Sounds like this band could and maybe should have become as well known. Catchy tunes.
