Ok I just did these exercises and now I have bright zigzag lights in my vision. You said you didn’t want us to feel pain in the back, my left side is the problem and I couldn’t believe the first simple exercise, I started on my right leg and when I put the leg back my left back hurt quite a bit, but when I did the left leg my back didn’t hurt, strange. I’m also hyper mobile, and even though I’m having a hard time walking I can do squats with no pain. I have been diagnosed with one leg shorter than the other, does that change anything.
@stopchasingpain

Does not change anything for nerve glides. Discontinue if it hurts

Thanks for this video Perry. Do you have any videos about relieving crepitus in your knee? My right knee has a lot of crepitus when I come out of a deep squat . Really no pain, but I noticed I have a little swelling below my kneecap below my knee on the inside of my leg .

I have si joint hypermobile dysfunction on my right side, which resulted in psoas dysfunction. In addition to si joint ligamentopathy, I have several points of tendinopathy in the groin, hip, glutes, thigh, ankles. Rectis femoris. Asic on right and some on the left. Goes down the inner thigh and more towards the back of the leg. I have tendinopathy also in the middle of the hamstring that is pressing on the sciatica. I was told shockwave cant penetrate that deep for the hamstring and I should use dry needling and prolotherapy for that spot. L4-L5 minimal disc bulge. Partially sacalized l5-s1. C5-c6 bulge. C6-c7 left herniation. Very slight levoscoliosis at L3. Like almost nothing. With all that out of the way, is it possible that the nerve entrapment, which is what they told me this is, is not because of my L4-L5 but a nerve bundle lower down that is entrapped due to my si joint dysfunction and psoas dysfunction? You mentioned groin and in that asic area. Si joint dysfunction can also cause issues there, in addition to glutes and hips and hip flexors. Would this nerve glide also help si joint dysfunction or is it only if the problem is disc bulge? For the most part, I may feel nerve going down the side of the leg, which is due to nerve entrapment from glute med/min/TFL. I do think I have this nerve issue you discussed in the video but it's complicated because I have actual tendinopathy in those areas the nerve crosses over. My doctor who recently started shockwave on me said doing all the PT in the world wont eliminate the pain and root issue. He said I have to repair the tissue and eliminate the nerve entrapments and then posture PT, breathing, and regular PT can do its function. He thinks my si joint and disc bulge are in a negative feedback loop and I need to cut the loop and that starts with resolving nerve entrapment. It makes sense but I hope hes right. I will try the nerve glides and see if they help with the nerve entrapment. But I have a feeling the permanent solution is resolve tendinopathy and any possible myofascial tension that's entrapping the nerves. It's really complicated having pelvis issues. It seems like it's a game of trial and error. When I feel progress has stagnated, I go see someone else who may have the "holy grail" to solving all those issues. It's not easy.

Sorry to hear that. Yes it may come from a lower nerve bundle.

Well this is well timed! Dealing with a knee flare and its not settling, have a femoral nerve floss on my list of things to try but havent yet and this version looks great and has reminded me to do it! You often post stuff at just the right time for an issue I'm dealing with, thank you! 🙏🤞😍 Such a great explanation and video, really useful (have been known to only do one side so thank you for explaining why its important to do both!)

I have had pain in my hip flexor for four years, injections, stretching has done nothing. The last three years I have suffered from hip and pelvic pain, only at night, with no explanation from anyone. Thank you for this video. It makes so much sense and no one has ever talked to me about this. Started this today. ❤

Can't tell you that depends on the individual. But start off with once a day because you don't wanna over irritate it

The standing exercises are killing me. I'm way too stiff. Been working for a couple of weeks to loosen up my joint there, I'm way too tight, knotted up and stiff. I'm so glad to have found you. I'm going to work on these 3 exercises a little bit at a time. Shoot, standing up one is beating my 6'Oclock but it feels good afterwards.
