I discovered Joe Bonamassa a few months ago. I love his playing, but what I like the most about him is his deep love and devotion for the blues. I want to thank him because I had a long period of time in which I didn't listen to blues anymore, I used to think that it was too much a simple music and I'd rather listen to jazz or fusion , but then I listened to some Joe Bonamassa 's music and man, that power and energy took me right back to my 20's when all I heard was blues, blues and blues again. Congrats Joe, big hugs from another Joe here from Italy
Nothing against, in fact i love with all my heart almost all the new kids on the block like Polyphia, Plini, intervals, but, for me, this tone is simply the greatest thing on the world. Just the guitar direct to an amazing fender amp and you are the king of the world.
Years ago my son took a guitar workshop for a couple of weeks at Elgin Community College, and Joe Bonamassa was one of the guest teachers. The advice he gave my son was incredible, really nice guy.
Man that’s a really nice sound! I’ve always appreciated that super clear yet crunchy, compressed, dynamic guitar tone. I think it’s amazing in mix setting.
Your a lovely man and a brilliant musician Joe love your music and your personality is amazing, thanks heaps for hours of enjoyable music while I'm working.
Joe my man, I love you so much, you have no idea how much pleasure you have brought to this 70 year old man that has spent so many hours of pleasure listening to you play. I purchased your black beauty three gold pick up Epiphone a year or so ago and have been enjoying it so much I do play on the streets of New Orleans at toms and if you ever see me out there playing please stop and play the guitar for me.
I've wondered the same. Possible damage? Pilferage? Who knows. Careless mop handles, maybe? Yikes. Well, let's just enjoy and not worry about that, LOL 😂 Joe is the *BEST!* ❤️
@@elpresidente5881… Oh good, Joe’s stuff is totally insured. You are so kind in letting us know. Now we don’t need to worry! We can simply enjoy Joe’s music! Thank you so much! That’s a load off my mind! Joe is the *BEST!* ❤
I remember when JB was just being heard on a fairly large scale. All we heard was how he sounded too much like this guy, or stole from that guy, or bla bla bla. Of course it was all out of jealousy, everyone learns from someone and then becomes their own-self . Richard’s, Clapton , Hendrix etc all had guitar heros they emulated in the beginning. What you saw here was the culmination of hrs of missed time with friends while practicing his instrument. Knowing the scales, notes, chords, progressions etc backward and forward, and also the idiosyncratic differences in the guitars and amp combos. He’s a legend in his own right and earned it.
I think its a neat lil trick of activating the low end section, kinda jumpin but not jumpin, On Tweed deluxes, even the input yr NOT using effects the tone of the input you are using and i think this poss adds a lil more bottom hence why hes got the low gain knob on 2
Henry Cavil: “… you can have any girl you want, just ask her, that’s what I do and always work… that is simple!!!!!” Joe Bonamassa: “… you can play this riff, no matter the equipment, look at me doing… that is simple!!!!”
