I can do that great. But I was playing in a hard rock band and the leader kept pushing me to play more raucously with more crash cymbal. Wow was it fun!
INHO, the best sounding Rhodes were from the Silver Tops to about 1972 or 73. After that the so called "improvement" that were made did more to take away from the sound than add to it.
Wow Fred, you are amazing at those keys! I had a shit ton of respect as soon as I saw you jam this at the start. I would love to play one of these and I love playing basslines like that on the organ.
Spot on! I have been in bands with some damn good drummers...BUT only a few who could play to a lower volume and still sound good. Most don't even try.

Coltrane drummers were subtle AND loud… I reckon they didn’t have an half naked immobile lady next to the cymbals, though… But I loved drummers who could play soft when I played onstage, ans this one does know there’s room under Mezzoforte !
