I felt that the Telecaster definitely had the 'fattest sound', especially in the bridge position with the hardtail close behind and the regular Strat being the 'thinnest' sounding bridge position. Obviously these all have their use cases but I really like the Telecaster, I just missed the shape of the Stratocaster as I guess I am used to it now. What do YOU think?
I have that same model Tele and color, which is “Butterscotch Blonde.” My favorite electric by far. The Tele is so versatile, and paired with a Deluxe Reverb makes a fantastic rig.
hah... that terrible Strat Bridge pickup sound... lol, I replaced mine with a 16k humbucker (in my 07 Fender US VG Strat) as I was gaining several new sounds by doing that as the Roland pickup could mimic the SSS strat rather well. I found my Tele neck thinner at the nut and more rounded compared to my strat (Got the Fender Pro like yours in black). Teles are great because they cut through the mix with very little effort.
