Vintage Guitar Oldenburg and Tobias Hoffmann present a Fender Telecaster from 1970. More infos about the guitar at: www.vintage-gu...
The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper. Overdrive Sounds come from a handbuilt Zendrive clone pedal and a Vermuran Butter Machine. The Greer Amps Lightspeed was used as a booster, a Boss PS-6 for chorus-sounds and a Lehle 1023 as Volume Pedal.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

May be my favorite guitarist right now -- and Julian Lage- Tobias’ simple but expansive playing is inspiring and great to watch again and again - always something to learn

It feels impertinent to comment, but if impertinence be a sin so be it: Listened twice to make sure I was sure, but my suspicions were confirmed. The spirit of the cosmos has been captured and channelled through this man. Every musical wonderment of this magnificent existence is encapsulated in just this 10 minutes, and I've only had 3 large gin and tonics and one of those other things that make the world worth living in. Tobias always comes up with terrific progressions to blow over -- sometimes they're so simple, but he can improvise endlessly with them. I heard some classic Strat tones here, but the banjo passage was a real surprise -- don't recall hearing banjo simulation on a Strat from anyone!
