"these things are hard to beat"....... great thing to say !!!!! The Twin Reverb is The King of all Amps....... i am never selling my 73....master volume means nothing..... i put two Tone Tubby Alnico Reds in mine and it is my favorite possession of all time..... these 50 watt 12's roll off highs naturalyy

Would love to hear you play it in a box car with the doors open in a Silo with 16 exspensive microphones and a team of sound engineers doing the mix.😮😮😮 , just kidding 😅😅😅, just you at an outdoor ampitheter with nothing else

Wow! I'm impressed! The first time I heard BB King at Reflections in Cincinnati he used a Twin; had it cranked to the point of distortion and just blew all of us away; before his Randall and other stuff days; about 40 years ago... The greatest live performer who ever lived; you could 'feel' magic when he played. RIP 🤘 (It's not there on the recordings; can't be recorded; magic, no lie!)

Great video as always Randy!!!!!!! Gotta love those old twins. You just can't beat em for pure tone & power. The guy that taught me banjo & guitar used to have one of the old larger bodied, cherry red, Les Paul's. I never got to hear him play it much, but when he did, he would always play it through an old twin that he had. At some point several yrs back, he told me that he had switched out the original speakers for a set of JBL's. I remember carrying that old Les & amp for him a couple times. The guitar was dang near as heavy as the amp was. I was probably between 12 & 14 at the time & I'm pretty short anyway. I'd take a few steps, with the amp & then, set it back down. Take a few more steps & set it down. I'd bet it was a comical sight for anyone watching that day. Thanks for sharing, Randy!!!!!!! It brings back some very fond memories of my much loved mentor. He's been gone for right at 20 yrs now. We're getting old, buddy, but we'll keep on pushing through for as long as God gives us breath. Much love from your KY neighbors & we're always keeping you in our thoughts & prayers!!!!!!!

I have a Twin from 1980. The reverb doesn't seem to be putting out much at all. Little to none. And when i click it on, the amp will(reverb tank) will make kind of an echo type "banging" noise. Is it the tank, tubes, transformer?? Help !? Thanks
