For a long time I’ve been chewing fennel seeds… the licorice flavor is so little and fennel does have a flavor I really don’t care for but the benefits out-way the yuck… I will continue chewing it 😊
Ive just started having fennell tea as I wanted to stop having coffee. I put a teaspoon in a cup of boiling water and let them steep, I then chew on about half a teaspoon of the seeds which have softened. I like the taste. After just one week of a cup, sometimes two cups, I do feel better. One thing I have noticed which I don't know if it's linked is some of my nails had vertical ridges and these have almost disappeared. Add them to curry or dahl. I guess you could grind them and add to all sorts of dishes. I've sprinkled some left over from my tea to a salad. I'm intending to put some in my morning porridge.
My son was colicky when he was 2 to 4 months old my neighbor told me about fennel seed boil the seeds pore the juice into in to a bottle put it in the fridge then when it's cool feed the baby the half bottle then he started to burp it really works wonders

Sure you can! I grow fennel plants, and collect the seeds in the Autumn. I have about a half teaspoon every evening after meal. They taste good, and greatly help digestion (among other things!).
