I think people often forget that these people you see in the streets/drug addicts/mental illness etc, these are real people, with real feelings and a story to tell. For the first time.. I got emotional as hell watching an interview. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a man or what. But this hurt my feelings so much. I felt like this man sent back to his 14 yr old self, while explaining his mom giving him up to a boys home or just wanting to feel wanted like his siblings. He was just a regular teen going through the motions of exploring himself like we all did he needed guidance at that time not abandonment. He sincerely never got a chance to turn his life around so he went and found a family. Bro this hurt so bad to watch. Clearly he’s smart and religious! He just needed someone. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Please don't give up Isaak!! You have so much potential and reason to live.

I totally understand because my first love was also my child and I couldn’t imagine ever losing my kids to an abusive parent 😞or to anything. My mum put me in care at age 14 because she said she would rather someone else deal with my PTSD that I developed due to her parenting neglect. I really relate to this. Even though I didn't do drugs till I was in foster care. All my love buddy from another broken child.xx

Your story broke my heart, but you are definitely on this earth for a purpose. Your soul is too kind and strong for all of this to be for nothing. I pray you continue on your journey to quit the drugs, and I pray you get your kids back. You are NOT weak. You're stronger than anyone you've ever had to endure pain from. They see it too, which is why they have to keep you broken down continuously. There is nothing you can't achieve, Isaak. Just focus on your goal and take it one day at a time!

Something I like about this channel is when I recognise traits of other people I have met in real life and get some insight into who they are and what their stories may be. I know you're a long way from the UK but you could do great videos here too. Great work Mark.

If ever there was a former gang member deserving of a second chance, Isaak strikes me as the one. In fact, Isaak is deserving of a first chance because let's face it, he never had it. I truly hope this man gets the help and support he needs; for his sake, his daughters' sake and, frankly, society's sake.

You may not be able to be in your children's life right now, but if you stay in touch with them as much as you possibly can, then once they come of age and can make their own minds up wether they want to see you or not. If they want to, then you will have a whole lifetime of being in their lives, think positively about the future, your futures together as a family with them. I wish you all the best in keeping it together for them and you. 💙✌️

Poor guy is rattling really badly. Running nose, shaky leg. Bless him, I hope he gets clean and to see his daughters. He'll need some psychiatric help to deal with the trauma of his Mum rejecting him over and over again. I'm sure he was a tearaway in his youth, but you should never give up on your kids, they need you. Hey Isaak - everyone I know has died from abusing fentanyl. I hope you try to get clean for yourself and your daughters. They really need a daddy, and even if you cannot contact them now. There is always hope for the future. I am sure they love and miss you so much

Sucks that Mark didn’t ask him about how his father passed , seemed like he wanted to talk about it because he brought it up about 3 times 😞

The saddest thing about this interview is him saying he had to start using heroin to be accepted into a program. Some programs are specific like that and some have waiting lists to get into. So it is very possible. If he was genuine making that comment, it is truly a sad example of our system working against it's people.

This is so heartbreaking. I could never abandon my child. NEVER. NO MATTER WHAT! He never had a chance. You spend the rest of your life feeling like no one could ever love you. You think…if your own Mother doesn’t/can’t love you then who can? And, no matter how bad your Mother treats you or what she says to you you will still find yourself striving for her to love you unconditionally. I know this to be true. I’ve lived it for 52 years…

I haven't had an easy life by any means, but despite all the trouble I've been in across so many spectrums, I have never had to endure my mother, my father, anyone in my family ever saying they didn't love me anymore. Now that I'm a father I can't possibly imagine ever doing that to my children regardless of ANY circumstances that may arise and my heart absolutely goes out to you Isaak. You are a beautiful person, who I can tell has a very big heart, and who deserves to be loved as such. I hardly ever cry outside of burying a family member or close friend, but your testimony truly touched me. As a stranger you'll likely never meet, and with every fiber of my being, I love you. I love YOU. I want so many blessings to come upon you. I want you to feel valued, and know that you're valued. I want nothing but the best for you and I will pray everyday that those blessings manifest as such. God bless you my friend.

Hearing this still relatively young man tell his history is so heartbreaking. I honestly pray for him and wish him all the best, recovery from his various health issues and being able to find a different way of dealing with his problems safely. I hope he will be able to see his children even if at first only visits with a social worker present. Who knows how is the best recovery path but so that he can overcome his addition and turn his life around, and be able to be in a proper and safe home and have a means of having financial security. He survived a terrible past and deserves all the more to have a good and happy future.

The way he says that he didn’t wanna bother his mother anymore, because he noticed that she wasn’t too fond of him anymore…. That is absolutely terrible for a child to experience and to feel such things. That definitely destroyed him. That would wound a person so deeply. This man needs love so badly. I wish that I could take all of the bad away from anyone who needed it. I am so sorry for what your parent did to you. Please know that you have so much worth. You are beautiful. Isaac was abandoned by his mother and stepfather. The parents are to blame in the beginning. He is well spoken and I pray he comes out of this addiction alive and well. Worst drug fentanyl I've ever experienced The withdrawal symptoms were so painful that it was difficult to quit. The dosage should be reduced and discontinued.

I can't fathom telling my children I didn't love them anymore. I've always told my children, that there's nothing they could ever do or say. That would stop me from loving them. I'm glad you are a loving parent, who broke that chain.

Adversity and affliction comes to everyone. Live as peacefully as you can in a world that has many problems.

That pause and flash of images processing behind the eyes after "How do you make your money..?" was grim...Actors would kill to show so much with such little outward expression

cycles of generational abuse stemming from poverty or illness or traumatic experiences like war etc. it's brutal, i want to say the problem is people having kids when they're not able or ready to handle everything that comes with it but things are complicated. people are going to have kids. the US is terrible at addressing the root causes of problems because it's not profitable or it goes against a status quo that has some people in positions of authority over others

We had both my mom and dad tell me they hate me. We heard it more from my mom but the way my dad said it to me kind of hit more. I never really thought much about it until I got older. I always thought it was because we did something bad but my dad [was/is] an alcoholic and my mom just has heavy stress and maybe mental illness. I used to think it didn't effect me as an adult but it has way more than I think. These videos help with that somewhat.

So sad not to have a mother's love...my children are 26 & 32, I still shower them w love...my grands even more...♥️ I hope he finds his purpose, help and some love!
