A mother, Belinda Vega, shares her story of the loss of her 16-year-old son to fentanyl poisoning.
Naloxone, the active ingredient in 4mg Narcan and higher dose 8mg Kloxxado, along with many generic versions, can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available for free. Google it.

It’s unfortunate she felt the need to be CANDID for the world. Her child was HERS. Her child alone. The last video I watch several people patronized the family for not telling EVERYTHING. To the mother…thank you for sharing your child’s stories with us. His book ended before he could get a chance to fully show his greatness to the world. But he showed it to you! You birthed him, you loved him, and you were there when he died. You have every right to tell his story how you want to. Omit the hurt whenever you see fit. I’m so so very sorry you lost your baby ❤❤

I cannot imagine watching my child go through similar things, at such a young age. As a parent my heart breaks for this mother as well as this poor child who lost his life. Mental illness is hard to understand, especially if you aren’t the one experiencing it, but to have a mom who tried to understand and who loved unconditionally is more than so many other children get. Naloxone is the active ingredient in Narcan and is also available in many generics as a nasal spray. In fact, the brand name Kloxxado delivers a higher dose of naloxone than Narcan (Kloxxado-8mg per dose, Narcan-4mg per dose). Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available in the brand name Narcan or generic versions available for free. It is important to recognize that Naloxone is the drug, Narcan is just a brand name. Whenever someone uses the word "Narcan" in place of "naloxone", they're devaluing all the other equally effective brand options and promoting a specific pharmaceutical company.

That blanket statement of default comfort is concerning. To say a person who dies is automatically in Heaven is a lie. Yes, God knows the heart but that won’t save a soul from hell. The Bible CLEARLY STATES “YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN” TO MAKE IT INTO HEAVEN. Not by works. Not by God knowing the heart. Only by the repentance of sin and asking Jesus to save your soul then turn away from all sin pick up your cross and follow Jesus. Anyone who dies without knowing God as their Savior will NOT be in Heaven. That’s the truth that so many need to hear because too many people are dying in their sin and going to hell because they either never heard the truth or they have heard the truth but rejected it.

I have lost other family members, friends and colleagues to this drug. Here in Charleston SC, they don't even talk about it. Its insane. Next problem thats already prevalent in Canada and many US states is Tranq. It is very addictive, they are using it as a cutting agent in fentanyl and it does not respond to naloxalone. Apparently it makes people look like walking zombies and they end up losing digits and limbs due to a flesh eating bacteria associated with it. Now is NOT the time to try ANY DRUG as ANYTHING can be laced.

Grateful for folks sharing these stories. Hopefully many of us learn to distinguish; acquaintances, associates, friends, and true family. Lost our stepson to a mixture of intoxicants including fetanyl, at age 25, Evansville, Indiana. Stuff is everywhere and not worth the risk. Be sober & vigilant.

Condolences to this mother & her family. Law enforcement needs to press charges to all who distribute these drugs! Every ambulance and police vehicle are supposed to carry Narcan with them. CPR on a mattress? As paramedics they should have placed her son on the floor. The boy who gave her son the deadly dose of fentanyl will live with being responsible for his friends death for the rest of his life. With fentanyl, it takes more than 2 doses for a person to come back from fentanyl poisoning. Please purchase at least 3 Narcan packages ( 6 sprays total). Narcan available at all major pharmacies and hopefully soon to be available over the counter. 🙏🏼😮
@TexasPictures
@TexasPictures Год назад
It is important to recognize that Naloxone is the drug, Narcan is just a brand name. Whenever someone uses the word "Narcan" in place of "naloxone", they're devaluing all the other equally effective brand options and promoting a specific pharmaceutical company.

I have worked in hospitals decades and are trained to teach CPR and have done CPR simulations and given CPR on patients and if the patient in bed, that's where you do the CPR. Patients are not moved. If the patient is in an air mattress, it's switched to hardening mode whilst giving pressures/CPR. If it's not a water or air mattress, you can do effective CPR on it. You get better force whilst standing than being on the floor on your knees. Maybe some sofas can be too smooth, but beds are usually ok for cpr

I look back at how stupid I was for taking them from my gfs brother the first time he gave me for free and now that I look back it was to get me hooked. The reason I quit once and for all was the day I took a half a fake green (mind you I usually take full ones) and thank god I did ! I was so messed up falling asleep that I crashed my car luckily at lower rate of speed and rear ended the car in front of me, I’m sure if I took the whole green Xan that day I would have died for sure.
