@@aprilmay3302 actually, there's 12 There's the 10 Elites, The 4 Saints, The 4 Apostles, The Crest of the Beast (or the Crest of Maurice) The Crest of Seiros, The Crest of Ernest (the forgotten crest) And lastly the Crest of Flames. That's a total of 22 crests. And Flayn is surprised that there's ten.
@@wutmagna7222 Crest of the Beast is marked as one of the elites... despite there being 10 elites known, there's actually 11, which makes sense given the history of the world and our own history... Maurice became the dragon form in that paralogue battle, and in doing so became nearly forgotten about... the people who bear his crest are seen as cursed so the crest became hidden, and over time, he was forgotten about... but he was still one of the elites officially speaking
Aw man…R.I.P. Kametz. He left an impact in every community he voice acted for. From Maruki in Persona to Ferdie in Fire Emblem, he will be remembered fondly by fans.
there was something so magical about how so many of the VA's came together in celebration of this amazing game. this sorta stuff brought so much joy to me way back then. Rest in peace, Kametz. Dude breathed so much life into so many amazing characters.
Makes me wonder how IS is going to handle the supports in the next FE game. Hand animating over 100 supports is dam impossible so they are going to have to reuse animations.
@@waterunderthebridge7950 So Maurice was actually a part of the 11 Elites at one point. But when he turned into a Crest demon he was ousted to Eastern Fodlan and his name and Crest was stricken from the now 10 Elites.
This is why I wish that Byleth actually talked. So we could have scenes where she is teaching and asking students questions where we could see them crash and burn. Heck they could even do it just to give us a bit more lore and make it fun not just have us read a bunch of books in the library or abyss(when you can unlock it).

@@inaviatable118 Spoilers: The crests are a manifestation of dragon blood within the crest owner. The 10 elites slew dragons, infused a dragon's blood into themselves, then used the dragon's heart and bones for heroic relics. There were others aside from just the elites who did this, as well, such as Marianne's ancestor. However, not all dragons are dead, and the saints (who are all dragons) all have dragon blood and therefore crests as well. All the people with crests from the saints (i.e. Seiros, Indech, Macuil, Cichol, and Cethleann) were given this transfusion willingly by the saints, these people joined sides with the dragons and presumably fought against the 10 elites. This is why there are no hero's relics for these crests, as the dragons of which they are based on still live. They do, however, have sacred weapons, a completely unrelated sort of weapon that heals. The spear of assal and the caduceus staff are two such examples of sacred weapons. You can tell which dragons were killed first by which have sacred weapons and which don't... those that do not have sacred weapons died in battle before those that do have them. This is because the 10 elites along with nemesis most likely attacked first. The four apostles also got their dragon blood in mysterious circumstances, but many of them have hero's relics so it's safe to assume that their dragons were killed (or sacrificed?!) in some way or another. Or perhaps the apostles switched sides and joined Seiros.... who knows? Then there's anna, who could be a dragon herself.

I can name all of the 10 Elites, Nemesis', Maurice's, Seiros', the 4 Saints, Ernest and 2 of the 4 Apostules. Just comes to show that I've spent too much time on this game
I only know Gloucester, Gonereil, Bladdydid, Flames(?), Charon, and Fraldarius. I know characters that have a few others, Sylvain, Ingrid, Claude, and Annette, but can't name their crests. I also know the saints, but those weren't the question.
I love these! If the sound quality and voice acting was closer to the original voice actor's, this series would really be believable and feel coherent with the source material!
