Day 175! "Gan Anim" "Ger The Rigger" Polka
Today I'm joined by Brittany Haas, amazing fiddler based in Nashville.
We're at River and Roots Festival in Berryville, VA, Brittany playing with the Michael Daves Band.
We couldn't find a name for this tune, first one of the year, but I'm sure someone knows it so let me know!

I gotta say I'm thrilled to hear this played at this tempo! Everyone I know plays it full tilt boogie and I'm just as guilty. This has totally changed my outlook on this tune. I'm glad you posted it and I found it.

I've watched many of the fiddle tune a day videos (and will undoubted hit them all in time); however, I keep returning to this one. Just a beautiful and soulful musical dialogue between two virtuoso players . . . sincere thanks for sharing this wonderful project!

The name I have for this tune is "Ger the Rigger". Sometimes played with Thadelo's in a set.
