Hello Im Lance (aka Bundy Bear) and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advise to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you dont see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advise at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

Cheers mate, My Father, Brother and I invented this kit 20+ years ago. We investigated how position control works in a 35 and matched the profile of the internal cam within the housing of the 35 and found a way that we could get it to work external on a Grey Fergy. As you know pulling apart the cross shaft on a Grey Fergy is not for the faint hearted. Once we had it working, which we really only did to see if it could be done, we thought that others might appreciate it. Have been selling them constantly ever since. During the course of manufacture of the tractors there seems to have been some slight thickness changes on the quadrant mounting pad and so some springs do end up a little out of alignment, I have suggested to a couple that have contacted me about this issue to file out the hole slightly and shift it away from the body of the tractor, it was designed as you supposed to rest on the housing, but the bolt should be done up nice and tight so should hold the forces ok. Thanks for the review and happy tractors.

G'Day Lance, nicely done very similar to how my install went, just like to mention that the Ferguson instructions tell you that when fitting such implements as slashers, post hole diggers etc. you should use the long pin beneath the draught control link pin so by passing it altogether. Really enjoy your videos. Thank you.

Nice to see how quick and smooth that three point moves. It's on the project list for my pair of 35s this spring (TO and MF). I know you're keeping this Fergie rusty, but you might want to experiment with a mix I found on Vice Grip Garage channel: 1 part spirits:2 parts boiled linseed oil. Then wipe it on (thin coat is best). It protects the surface and it's cheap. Lasts six months or a year or more depending on weathering. It will keep the relic look of this Fergie. I used it on the badly fading MF35 red paint and it revitalized it rather than repainting the tractor.
@BundyBearsShed

I have painted it with Penetrol since filming, the rust has darkened and the grey still looks close to the same.

Hi Lance, Just got one of these kits and yet to fit it. Your vid is most helpful. I wish to use it with a jib where draft control (movement) would be quite dangerous especially if lifting something in a confined space. I notice in your vid that there was still some noticeable movement in the draft function. Do you have any suggestions whereby I can totally disable the draft movement? I guess attaching the upper linkage to the lower pin would do this, however I would have to make up an adaptor to do this as the jib has a square section on the end which sits between the upper bracket. Thanks. Marcus
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed 2 года назад
My reactor is very stable with the kit fitted and Im thinking with a load on the jib crane as it is pulling on the spring and not pushing you may not have a problem. The only adjustment is on the spring so if you do have a problem possibly try to fiddle with that. Best option is use the lower mount though if possible.

@danstevens2204 2 года назад
Just removed this system from my latest tea20. Possibly poorly installed but the linkage would not in the lowest position. All the way down then it would lift 2-3 inches. The bolts were also loose and the movement had allowed dust and moisture into the transmission.
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed 2 года назад
Too loose possibly?
@scottragg

Had a similar problem, turns out where the quadrant lever pushes on the control arms inside the lift cover was worn and pitted, with matching wear on the corresponding plate on the control arm. Net result was there wasn't enough "throw" when the quadrant lever was rotated. Solved it by sleeving the end on the quadrant to 20mm with some aluminium tube.
