Here’s the second part of the input shaft seal replacement where I show all the various components that had do be removed in order to gain access to the oil seal

Thank you. Great info, especially about the shims falling if the shaft is pulled out a bit. You don't want that. Mine will need bearings and a seal. Terry

This has been very helpful with my ford 8n, not precisely the same tractor but there is quite a bit of cross over.

If I’m not mistaken the 9n and 2n were made while Ferguson and Ford were in a working relationship, the 8n has more changes, but a lot stayed the same.
