No hace falta ver lo de Evole y el sinvergüenza de Fuentes para saber que España en sus juegos hizo trampitas a base de "vitaminas" kripotianas. Oiga, ¿y se dopó también cuando fue plata en los Juegos olímpicos de Atlanta 96? ¿Y cuando fue campeón de Europa en 1994 también iba dopado? Es importante que nos den esta información, gente como usted que sabe tanto, porque, claro, debe destacarse que este atleta tiene una larga trayectoria. Fíjese lo que voy a decir, igual pensará que estoy loco, pero no sería descabellado pensar que para conseguir esos logros hay que entrenar y sacrificarse durante muchos años. Lo fácil es hacer de Juez desde la barra de un bar, sin tener ni puñetera idea de nada. Venga, que pase buen día pero no olvide aclarar si también se dopó en Atlanta, Helsinki y demás campeonatos.

Lol "underrated" former Olympic champion, former European champion, Olympic silver medalist in 1994, two time World Champ. silver medalist...held the 1500m European Record (3'28'95) for 13 years...Cacho was amongst the best 1.500m athletes in the 90's competing against the likes of El Gerrouj, Morcelli, etc

Mark Woldin There is a HUGE difference between time trialing and championship racing. Particularly in distances over 800m, you will rarely see times for Olympic Gold that rival the world records. This is partly down to lack of pacemakers in World/Olympic/Continental Champs, but also the added nerves of only having one chance every 4 years. No one wants to be the rabbit who acts as a target for everyone to hunt down. These sort of races benefit those with exceptional sprint finishes, such as Gebreselassie, Bekele and more recently Mo Farah - who is nowhere near either world record in 5000m or 10000m. It is the same reason why one of the greatest runners of all time Paula Radcliffe only won a single global track medal. A silver at the 1999 10000m world champs.

The only USA runner in the final race finished 7th or so....

@@sergiosanchez04 no lo se, pero es posible! En esos años no existía todo lo que tenemos hoy día para descubrir los atletas dopados y aún asi buscan la manera de doparse. Donde hay dinero siempre habrá tramposos! Auspiciadores, Grand Prix, Olimpiadas, mundiales, fama, etc. Es una tentación muy fuerte para muchos atletas.
