I saw two sides of Tommy Lasorda. I witnessed him being nice to me and others at a fan event when the cameras and the Dodgers folks were around. I witnessed him being a jerk at the same event when the Dodgers brass wasn't around. I heard plenty of stories from other Dodgers fans of Tommy being less than nice. Although your experience was positive, don't discount what is being reported.

No consequences for bad behavior. He did sign a contract though with his employer, the MLB and Padres. THEY do care. And THEY can and will force their morals and expectations and standards on him. I agree. I am Dominican, we were not raised like this. Anyone who is attributing this to our culture is speaking for themselves. The only thing I will say is that in Dominican baseball there are less unwritten rules, specially about showboating and all of that but even DR has it’s limits, and it’s never cool to disrespect the pitcher.

Acuna was on his way to this. The good news for Padres fans is he, just like Acuna, has the ability to be a top 5 all around player in the game if he tones down the selfish, primadonna antics and really starts to hone in on his craft. That one change alone turned Acuna from one of the best players in the game at times who sometimes struggled in bigger moments, to essentially the best player in the game who is now insanely clutch. Tatis has the same type abilities. As soon as he starts playing for the team and the win above all else, he's going to be incredible. Just hope he finds it before he gets too old, kind of like Manny did. If that dude had changed his attitude earlier in his career, he would've been even better than he is.

I was thinking something similar. We've heard from a lot of people, even iTalk himself, to "let the kids play." Four names that come to mind are Tatis, Franco, Tim Anderson, and Bauer. They're all about themselves. Tatis has had the issues mentioned in the video. Franco could be going to prison for a long time. Anderson isn't going to get the contract he thought he was going to get. Bauer has been blackballed from MLB. I don't follow what's going on in SD, but it's good to hear how Machado has matured. I was noticing how Bryce Harper has matured. Remember Papbelbon choking him in the dugout? Now he's become a leader and all-around good guy.
