The Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 was a 2+2 grand tourer car from Ferrari, introduced in 1972 to replace the 365 GTC/4. Its chassis was derived from that of the Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona.
The car was styled by Pininfarina. Following the Daytona, the GT4 2+2 was the second Ferrari to feature the characteristic Pininfarina design feature of a swage line dividing the body into an upper and a lower half.
In 1972, just a year after the debut of the GTC/4, a new 2+2 debuted at the Paris. The 365 GT4 2+2 featured all-new bodywork with little resemblance to the Daytona. The wheelbase was 200 mm (7.9 in) longer at 2,700 mm (106.3 in), but most of the mechanicals, including the engine, were carried over. The GT4 was replaced in 1976 by the new, almost identical looking 400 Automatic.

Looks like a 400 to me: double rear taillights instead of triple ones and a front spoiler...

I seem to remember that the car had been modified with some parts to look like a 400 😉. So... You're right.

At 0.16 you can see the chassis plate - it's a 365. The wheels /seats / door-pulls / console etc are all correct. I also have a 365 with 400-style twin rear lights: Until now, I always assumed that a previous owner might have had it updated, but there's no sign of any changes to the rear panel. Mine has the 365-style front valance, not the 400 style that this one has.

Your title: Just to be an anorak, if you read the VIN plates and the markings on top of the steering column - it's a "GT4 / 2+2" not a "GT/4 2+2" . (Though, personally - I think you're right and that "365 GT/4" to distinguish it from the earlier two-cam 365 GT makes much more sense. I reckon even Ferrari got confused about their own numbering system and put the "/" in the wrong place...)

I feel her exhaust note is somewhat throbbier than that of the 400/412, her successor, yet her consecutive sound like wind instruments is peerless, I do assess.

Nice. Though I like the red color exterior that Ferrari is famous for. ;) What's the best MY of that chassis series to look for to purchase? The 400i?

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one station per city. :-(
