Well, I don't know where this myth about temperature is coming from. It's kinda opposite actually. As soon as you can warm tyres to working temp, the colder outside the better. There are many variables in this regard, but in general, yes - the colder the better. I don't remember especially annoying instructors there, they are nice guys usually. :) They care about cars of course, but let you have fun. I did about 8-10 laps both times, I think. Its not enough to go really fast, but fair for comparison.

Honestly I don't remember tires on Mac, it was 3 years ago or so, but I guess it makes sense. :)
