Tiff Needell takes this Ferrari, arguably the best ever open top V12 car, on a trip through the countryside in search of a famous pub landlord in the beautiful village of Swallowcliffe.
The Ferrari 812 GTS certainly has all of the right ingredients, which include an incredible 6.5l Naturally Aspirated V12 producing 800hp. Revs up to an ear shattering 8,900 revs, has a seven speed twin clutch gearbox, 0-62 under three seconds, top speed over 200mph!
The ultimate open top cruiser? The best convertible you can buy for £300k? It certainly sounds better than a Tesla. As always please let us know your thoughts on the comments.

Tiff is still the best when it comes to reviewing cars. He has this storytelling ability, that gives you the technical details, with practical real world information, blending with the emotional experience, with a dash of humour. And he has been this way since top gear in the 80s. Unbeatable delivery.

Been watching Tiff since my childhood days when he was on Top Gear. Never disappoints. This 812 GTS is a sweet car to have. If you wanted a convertible V12 before. It was always crazy priced special models until this. And that ending with James Mays pub 🔥🔥🔥

As soon as he put the roof down and flipped the switch, good gold memories of Tiff thrashing the 430 scuderia and the 430 spider came gushing back and ooh the smile on my face. All Ferraris should be blue. Tiff is still the boss when it comes to car reviews and racing pedigree. A class act. When I want to really know a car rather than receive a sales pitch I look for Tiff Needell and Harry Metcalfe reviews.

Tiff is just a legend - he combines driving ability and presenting ability that appeals to those of us who don't want someone shouting or screaming at us or pottering around central London at 20mph. Tiff, Harry Metcalfe, and Chris Harris (when doing his own thing, outside of Top Gear scripting) are the gold standard imo of car reviewers on screen, whether that be TV or RU-vid. The Fifth Gear management really must have been smoking something when they thought letting Tiff go was a good move.

He filmed that round Compton Abbas in Dorset! I recognised the twisty bit going up to Wind Green. I used to ping my little Fiesta and my dads MX-5 up and down that road when i was 17 not long after getting my license. My dad used to look after Old Wardor castle that's just ouside Tisbury near Swallow Cliff where James' pub is located
