Why did the F1 wheeli wheres the downforce the plane thing had more downforce then the ferrari do it fairly that didn't look fair with that Ferraris dead downforce
The Thrust SSC didn't have any power going to the wheels (powered by the exhausts, like most jet aircraft), so there was no rotational force making it want to wheelie (although going up an hill with a sudden decrease in the incline would probably have caused it to follow a ballistic trajectory). The F1 car, on the other hand, has its power sent through its REAR(important) wheels, thus causing a rotational force on the whole vehicle, plus a "shift in weight" towards the rear. And, given that they are rear wheel drive, the power can't be evenly distributed between the front and back. Combine that with the fact that, unless it has a fan underneath generating suction, it won't have any significant downforce at low speeds (below AT LEAST 60 km/h) and you have a car that's much easier to wheelie
