I had a fibroid problem very badly. I had a hysterectomy 7 months ago - I'm 41, and having a hysterectomy has made my life so much better. A lot of the horrible pain I had, well...they're no more!

Similar to my case. No more pain but some hot flashes (starting a few days after the surgery) even though I have one ovary left in place.

I am 26yrs now 6yrs ago I had retain placenta and I don't know what happened but I woke up after 7days of coma to find out they did the procedure

When uterus is cut (removed) the endometrium which is what is shed during menses, is taken along with the uterus. Implication is that no menses will happen again.
