A thrombus may be freely mobile and will resolve after heparin treatment. It is associated with Myocardial infarction, Atrial fibrillation or even with DVT. An intracardiac tumor won't resolve over time and appears solid and hyperechoic. It will involve the myocardium and may even look like myocardial thickening.
Hi sir i had my anamoly scan done it was found out that persistent left superior vena cava dilated into coronary sinus and single umblical artery. Is there any complications regarding heart sir?im at 24th week of pregnancy now

I had a follow up ultrasound and the prof said that it’s a small amount only 1.7mm that’s it’s all completely normal and there’s nothing in the thorax anymore. She said anything under 2mm is normal and she told me not to worry but to come back in 6 weeks time.
