After 39 weeks and 3 days 1. sd ratio of ambalical artery is 1.85 2. Pi of fetal MCA is 1.64 Sir it is normal or risky please answer as soon as possible
Sir, while doing umbilical artery doppler, if free cord is somewhat horizontal and I steer doppler angle to make it parralel to the artery, my machine shows AC 70, AC 79 etc in red color and manual measurement gets prohibited and the automatic measurement also gets faulty, like, the spectrum showing normal looking psv but the machine says it is zero. Engineers cannot claify the reason to me. Can the machine be faulty? Should I change the machine?

More regular monitoring on ultrasound is required. It is recommended to take proper rest, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and have a proper diet. It is best to consult with your doctor.
Does it light red in colour Doppler or blue?.... I don't understand. From what i know, blue indicates away and red is towards transducer. However it is the umbilical vein that supplies the fetus and flow is towards the transducer right? So red colour ?.And umbilical artery is carrying deoxygenated blood and waste from the fetus and flow is away from the fetus so colour blue?
The color of umbilical arteries and vein depends on the position of the placenta, the fetus and the cord, and their positions relative to the transducer.
Such parameters of umbilical artery may indicate placental abnormality or growth restriction. It requires close monitoring on further ultrasound scans. Clinical correlation is recommended
There is moderate blood flow resistance. Lot of factors are considered such as fetal growth and well being and placental function. Yes it can improve over time.
Hello! Yes, it is possible to improve the S/D ratio with bed rest. The absence of the tibial ossification center could suggest a delay in skeletal maturation. This might be due to several factors, including genetic influences, nutritional aspects, or other conditions affecting fetal growth. Best Wishes!
today on 20jan,doctr has asked me to rescan for tibial ossfctn cntr nd blood flow, but report is same..sd ratio still increased and tibial osfctn cntr not seen. sir my edd is 11feb,doctr has only asked me to take rest and take my iron calcium tablets. sir if tibial ossfctn cntr will not be seen, then what will happen. i am afraid. will it be fine? can it be cured in nicu??
Im sorry to hear about that. Yes, improvement is possible even after birth but it is best to consult with a neonatologist/pediatrician regarding this. Best Wishes!
doctr is saying that your edd is 11feb,so we have 3 weeks more, till that time ossifictn cntre may be seen..my doctr is not saying anything regarding consulting neonatal specialist. sir one more thing,on 12jan sd ratio of umb artry was 4.4,after that i was on bed rest, today on 20jan sd ratio is 3.7..it has decreased but still not normal range
